My new avatar

you did it :lol: :lol: are you serious we might have been on at the sme time b/c i tried and right when i loged off i had it so I thought it was me the one who had done it :lol: :lol: Oh I'm so happy thanx so much do u know how much I lov u right now?:lol: :lol:


Anyway ok. what I do is that when I find a pic I go to microsoft word and I open up a disket and I copy it in the disket and then when I do all that on user cp and I click o browse it comes out but then it tells me that my trl or something and the when I get my trl it tells me that something is invalid or something like that. What am I doing wrong?:(

oh youre welcome michelleLa!!! ok, I'll try to explain this the best that i can.....

1. Go to user cp (Control Panel)

2. Go to edit options..scroll down to the bottom and look for Avatar

3.Click the button that says "Change avatar"

4.Scroll down until you see some words that say "You can upload an avatar from your computer"

5.click the "Browse" button that is next to it.....

6.A "choose file" will open up....ok, look for the pic that u want to upload and click on it then click "open"

7.If done correctly, it will say "thank you for" etc...

Well i hope that helps, remember that your avatar has to be 152x152 or else it will say "File too large,etc..." Then you would have to change the pic so it will fit. Holla back if u have any other problems or ask someone else on this board.:D :D

I do everything u tell me to and it tells me that is not a valid jpg or something like that. Don't you have to copy the image to a disket? You how I told you how I do it am I doing anyhting wrong?

The image you have has to be in a certain format, JPEG only. If its not in that format, then it will say "invaild JPG". Also, you can have the image on a floppy diskette or on your harddrive, it doesnt matter, as long the image is in JPEG format. Holla back!!!:D :D

well when I click on browse it does say .jpg(or whatever the letters are)
