Some people think that she was annoying in the beginning but I liked her. By the end of the show she became a warrior almost as good as Xena. What is your opinion of how she changed during the show?

Whatever became of Renee O'Connor? Has she worked in any movies or TV
shows lately?

Whatever became of Renee O'Connor? Has she worked in any movies or TV shows lately? She was recently in a made-for-TV movie with Bruce Campbell on the Sci-Fi channel called "Alien Apocalypse". I didn't see it, but I heard it was really bad.

the character of gabrielle was great...at first she was the comic relief then grew into much more! the show wouldnt have been as big of a success if it didnt have renee o' connor as gabrielle in it! lucy and renee really feed off of each other!!!

Gabrielle went from a witty bard to a warrior and an Amazon Queen, all because she was Xena's friend and could learn fast. True, a lot of fancy tarts could have been cast to play that part, but would it have been Gabrielle, of such a lovely young woman?

What would I have done in another time, another place, another life? It would beat being an old blister such as I am...

I loved her from beginning to end. I think her character developed more than any of the others; I mean, she went from simple village girl with a knack for telling stories, to warrior, to Amazon Queen. I also think, in many ways, she humanized Xena. Xena had lived such a violent life, and had so many regrets. At the start of the show I doubt she thought love and happiness were within her reach anymore, but Gabrielle showed her they were.
