If you could write a movie about what happened on Wings one year after the series finale took place, how would it go?


Joe and Helen had a great year abroad, but Helen realizes that while she loves playing the cello, she loves life on Nantucket with her friends even more. She and Joe return to Nantucket with plans to start a family.

Antonio decided to give up the cabdriving business and go to flight school. He now works for Brian at Sandpiper. Joe returns to Sandpiper and the three guys plan to expand business.

Fay has retired, but still visits often. Casey has taken her place beind the Sandpiper counter.

Casey and Antonio are finally dating. Helen is not too thrilled with the idea of her sister dating one of her best friends at first, but she realizes how much they need each other. They get engaged.

Roy is still his old self, but he's a grandfather now because his son and his son's boyfriend have adopted two children.

Lowell has been released from the Witness Protection Program and moves back to Nantucket.

Alex has returned and she and Brian try to start things up again. They eventually get married in a double wedding with Casey and Antonio.
