as you all know, dates are firm for Season 3, 4 and 5, making 2004 a great year for DVDS fans.

I've received a few emails from people about defective discs. Please let me know if any of you have had any issues. I purchased a DVD of one of my favorite films last week; "And Now My Love (Toute Une Vie)" by Claude Lelouch. Halfway through the film the subtitles started scrolling uncontrollably. coincidentally, it was also an Image release. These things DO happen, but should be pretty rare.

Some recent sad news, however, in the DVD universe. First, Hope Lange, Dick's co-star on The New Dick Van Dyke Show, passed away December 19, 2003 in Santa Monica, CA. Hope was a wonderful actress and will be missed.

Second, Dick's long-time William Morris agent, Sol Leon, died at the venerable age of 90 on December 5. Sol was one of the people we met with early on about the DVDonDVD project.
