I like all the seasons of the show
but I really like seasons one and
two the best. I thought those had
Mary's best acting and continued
more in her style from the Van
Dyke show. But she did one thing
different that I only ever saw her
there. She would sometimes break
out into this really wide beautiful
smile that I thought was really
charming. The teeth were truly
flashing. It was just so nice.
And she did it a few times. But
after the second season, she never
did it again. It's like someone
mentioned it to her and she was
embarrassed and actually decided
not to do it anymore. Like Rob
doing the characture (sp) of her
face and her saying "that's not too
big for a mouth?!". But I read
later she thought her smile was
one of her better features.
Whatever, it was just a nice
character moment and she just
dropped it. Wish I knew why.
