View Full Version : Third Rock cancelled dave8393 01-01-2004, 02:51 PM why did this happen does anyone know ? thanks dave Brent88 01-01-2004, 03:20 PM Low ratings? Steve M. 01-01-2004, 03:46 PM It still had a pretty good run. Dean Winchester 01-01-2004, 04:08 PM ratings the last 2 seasons were extremely bad (it was in the 90's both in the 99-00 and 00-01 seasons). I think NBC let it run it's course because it was a vet by that period, whereas most new shows would be canned for higher ratings (think ABC and Drew Carey) Will and Grace Fanatic 01-01-2004, 06:32 PM it did very well in the first 4 seasons. But during it's 6th season and last season it placed 93rd for the season. Which is awful for a NBC show. Brent88 01-01-2004, 08:05 PM 99% of the reason sitcoms are cancelled are because of low ratings. Radical 03-31-2008, 09:47 PM I'm pretty sure the ratings tanked because Joseph Gordon-Levitt left (or cut his hair--I can never decide which). Mr. Television 04-01-2008, 12:22 AM When I first saw this thread I thought it was about 30 Rock. rc.uk 04-01-2008, 07:58 AM I've always thought that the first few seasons were by far the best. I never cared for Seasons 5 and 6 - they got way too crazy and unbelieveable. I can fully understand why the ratings were low for those two seasons. I can watch Seasons 1-4 over and over again and never get bored. |
