Which television shows aired a New Years Day episode? The only one I can think of offhand is The Wonder Years. It aired during the final (1992-93) season. Kevin wanted to go skiing with some friends, but Wayne and Bonnie treated them to a dinner show, in which Winnie was invited.

There are three I know:
1. Honeymooners (New Year's Eve party, Lost Episode) Here, Ralph fakes illness to go to a New Year's Eve party, and runs into his boss there. He got fired, but the boss' wife helped get Ralph his job back.
2. Rhoda (What's you doing New Year's Eve) Rhoda has no plans for the New Year, but tells Joe she does. A party that Rhoda throws is a disaster, until Joe comes back before midnight. I underrated this eppie, as we almost see Carlton's face here.
3. Laverne & Shirley (New Year's Eve '60, 1977) In this, my favorite New Year's one, Laverne's date for the party dumps her, and Shirley ends up with a cold. Laverne tries to 'drink' her way out of misery with a full bucket of Milk and Pepsi. Also, Squiggy does his own version of a dropping ball as the countdown to the New Year.
I saw all of them last night on my tapes.

"Freinds" has done a couple, "One Day a a Time" did 2 that I know of, "MASH" did one, and I think "Barney Miller" did 1 or 2.
Also, "Frasier" did one.
And, one of the "lost" "Honeymooners" episodes-actually sketches done on "The Jackie Gleason show"*-was about the Kramdens & the Nortons celebrating New Years.
*these sketches weren't really "lost" after all. Jackie Gleason knew about them. But noone bothered to ask him!!:D :D :D

2. "Match Game"
I always love MG's New Year's episodes because they always bring up the old number, like 73 and then they'd bring down the new number, like 74, changing the name of the show from "Match Game 73" to "Match Game 74."
