View Full Version : Along Came Polly
*GoodMorningCalgary* 12-31-2003, 10:47 PM I can't wait to see this movie! this is what its about...
"A man who's afraid of risk (Stiller), but makes a living analyzing risk ends up getting involved in a risky romance (Aniston), cheating on his new wife (Messing), which turns his stable life upside-down. Sense a theme? (Hoffman plays Stiller's best friend; Baldwin plays his boss; Brown plays a sky-diving, bungee-jumping "adrenaline junkie" seeking a life insurance policy; Silpa plays the director of a play who comes into conflict with Hoffman's character; Azaria plays a French scuba instructor who flirts with Messing's character while she and Stiller's character are on their honeymoon; Michele Lee plays Stiller's mother and Dishy plays her husband.)"
There haven't been too many comedies coming out lately so I'm looking forward to this. I also love Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston! who else wants to see this?

*GoodMorningCalgary* 01-25-2004, 06:50 PM I finally saw and let me say I was a little dissapointed. I was thinking it would be different than all the other Romantic Comedies that have come out lately like How to lose a guy in 10 days or whatever. It just wasn't that funny. I felt like it could have been done much better. I really tried hard to like it but I just couldn't....
LucyCompanyPhan 01-30-2004, 11:55 PM It was a good movie. Nothing great, but good. Its worth seeing. It had its moments. Its definately got a Ben Stiller feel to it. It seems like he plays the same character. It had its moments. I like the whole pillow scene. I was really REALLY annoyed by this ugly fat friend. B 85%

I completely agree with everything you said...especially the friend. What was the point???
Brian Damage 02-03-2004, 07:41 PM I liked it, but I thought it would've been alot funnier than what it was.
-*Leah*- 02-07-2004, 01:39 AM I went and saw it a couple of weeks ago, and I thought it had room for a lot of improvement. Not one of my favorite movies.
