When Darlene catches DJ peeping at their neighbor Molly, is the entrance to his bedroom different than from an eariler episode (when Jackie hurts her back in the line of duty)?

I don't think so. They enter his room right from the hall. His room may have been decorated a little differently making it look different.

Well, when Darlene sees DJ peeping -- she enters from the left of the room .. but when Jackie and others enter from the "Jackie taking down a naked man and hurting her back episode" .. they come in the right.

I never noticed that before, but now that you mention it, you're right, she did enter the room from the opposite side in the two episodes. Good eye!!

Is it possible though that maybe DJ's and the girls' rooms are connected by the bathroom?

I suppose it is .. but when they show the inside of the girls' bathroom -- there is no entrance way or door where Darlene had entered on this certain episode.

Yeah that is right darlene said in episode crime and punishment that she locked her door, but he must have gotten in through the bathroom
