Does anyone know when or if they plan to come out with the next season of dvds? I would love for them to come out with more. Thank you.

I maybe wrong, but I don't think there is anything planned yet...it's not on savedbythebellnow.com at least...

Try to remember that SBTB:Now is just a fansite, although the great Ericka is always up to date, the studios don't go directly with news to her.

There isn't an official release date for seasons 3 or 4, but I'm sure they will be released on DVD sooner of later. Several representatives from MGM, and NBC have made comments about continuing to release the entire series on DVD. Try emailing MGM/UA directly for some answers.

Her website isn't the official website, it's just the official fansite. Her site is better than the "official" one though, I can see why you are confused.

Right. My website is the official "Fansite". The only difference, and the reason why it's not called an "official website" is because they don't pay me to do it or is my site and/or the ".com" owned by Lions Gate. However, they do contact me with information about the DVD, press releases, photos, etc. So, whatever you may want to call it, they will, eventually, get in contact me with information about the rest of the DVD's. LOL.

See how this may or may not be official?? Someone has posted in this thread above the DVD is being released in March according to another website??? And others are reporting April???

I have already contacted them...we'll see what happens.

Obviously I'm not Erika, but the Malibu Sands episodes should definately be included, they were part of season 3.

Yup. I only know as much as everyone else. However, turns out the date is official, Amazon.com has it already listed for pre-order but it doesn't list any information about it. :D :(

I'm sure "Good Day Live," "Entertainment Tonight" and all those type of shows will re-air the clips, but I just noticed that they're censoring the clip... CNN and FOX have.

Yes, seasons 3 and 4 will be in the same box set. Seasons 1 and 2 (already released) share a box set as well.

LOL... we just wanted everyone to share our conversation. Back on topic... yeah, I also want a booklet to be included. And yes, Seasons 3 and 4 will be in ONE box set.

I truly hope so, as well. I would love the DVD to also at least have some kind of special feature, maybe a picture gallery or trivia....or commentaries by Peter Engel...something!!! We'll see, but lets not get our hopes up. :rolleyes:

I wish it would have special features but I have to still get season 1 and 2 set so I will buy season 3 and 4 after that. Where can I buy the DVD set?

...I'd buy seasons 3 and 4 now while it's got a good discount. It's about 10 dollars cheaper than seasons 1 and 2 right now.

...I'd like to see the E! True Hollywood story included in the special features. That can't be too hard to do, can it? I mean, I've seen stuff like that done before where they've taken documentaries from stations and added them to movies....:confused: Of course, that'd probably cost them some money, and they're not willing to do that for the fans...

"04" represented the year because I couldn't remember the date.. I'll change it to avoid futher confusion.

It would be nice if they included the "E! True Hollywood Story" but I'm sure it will cost them quite a bit to buy rights from E!. Why don't they include behind the scene footage?... I'm sure they have some still around.

Booklet?... I think they will include one this time to make up for all the confusion they caused with the first DVD set.

Commentary?... HIGHLY doubt it, but it might. They might want to make this DVD set better after realizing that the first DVD actually sold well (...I'm assuming because whenever a first set doesn't do well they never continue to release the rest.)

Malibu Sands run?... I'm 95% sure they will be included.

Tori run?... see above.

Production order or air-date order?... I think it's going to be on production order since the first DVD was.

There's not more to say about this but that season 3 and 4 will be more money because they will be new and season 1 and 2 will be older.

Not necessarily. Sometimes they're both the same...but you may be right. It could be like 5 dollars more, which isn't much I suppose.

OK, I read on a web site, I think it was tvshowsondvd.com that there was some confusion with the upcoming Season 3 & 4 set. Someone said the new set would have the same amount of discs that the first had, but that the new set should have more episodes than the first. Which makes me wonder if all the episodes will be included with the new set? :confused: I don't know much about the subject, could someone clear this up? I'm buying seasons 1 & 2 this week, and will get 3 & 4 when released, but I ceraintly hope ALL the episodes are included in that one...

Sorry for the double post, but could someone describe the Season 1 & 2 packaging for me. I've heard many negative comments about it, and am curious to learn why so many people hate it.

Also, I hear that some episodes were not included in the first set. This is terrible, and if true, i'm not buying these sets. :(

Most of the packages are sealed with the sticker on the actual cover, instead of on top of the plastic....so when you peel it, the color gets stripped away.

Some have suggested to get a hair dryer to melt it and slowly peel off the sticker. What I did was slice the sticker on top, which works too.

I feel like I'm the only the one who didn't have a problem with the packaging... the sticker came off easily on my DVD.

Some are saying that the packages shipped from www.amazon.com did not have a problem at all..did you get yours from amazon?

I was just lucky to slice the sticker at the top and nothing happened. I was aware of it when I read the forums when people were upset about it.

Actually, I got my copy at Target. I didn't order it from Amazon because I'm too impatient.

The discs are fine.... but the "box" is destroyed.

Im sure you can - some companies are good about that. For example, I asked either Disney or Buena Vista for a replacement chapter insert and coverslip for SpyKids 2, and it was sent to me with no problem!

I emailed lionsgatefilms.... but they said they do not answer personal emails.

Would I have to call something??

Why is Lions Gate suddenly being so rude towards people?!... Even Erika lost contact with them, that is unacceptable after all the work she did for them!

Hopefully, they'll do a better job with the packaging of seasons 3 & 4. The first set could have definitely used an outer, heavier cardboard box to house the case with the five discs. I always handle my SBTB set carefully just so I wont damage it. barwars88, as a last resort if Lions Gate doesn't help you, there are places that sell multidisc keepcases if you want to go that route.
