In a few episodes, various characters say that Cory and Topanga had been dating since they were 2. But when the show started Cory wasn't exactly fond of Topanga and they only got together when Shawn went out with topanga and Cory went out with Trini...(I don't know what seaosn that was in)

Yeah, that is a bit annoying isn't it? And how could two year olds date? Btw, it was the 3rd season, the first ep of the season I believe.

The show had lots of different writers over the years, that's why the whole history was changed for Cory and Topanga. They all put their own "spin" on the show.

Ive always found that annoying. I love the show but that is just to thought provoking.
