In the episode No Children, No Dogs, Jack brings Chrissy a puppy home. Janet says no animals are welcome in the building, Ropers rule. But why does Mrs. Roper have a bird?

Well, they are the owners. The Ropers could do anything they want there! *gg*

Then why did Mr.Furley worry about the inspector finding the cat?

Because Mr. Furley wasn't the owner of the building and he was way too much afraid of his brother!

Furley always used to say, "My brother Bart would never allow..."

If Furley found out that Jack really wasn't gay, why would he have to run to his brother and tell him if it meant Bart would evict Jack? Couldn't Furley just keep quiet about it? If Bart DID find out, Furley could just pretend like he didn't know.

I think its because Furley himself wasn't too thrilled about a guy living with two girls. It wasn't as accepted back then as it is now.

But the thing I don't get is if Rev. Snow could accept his daughter living with a guy, as far as I know Rev. snow assumed that Jack was straight but just a good friend and good protector for the girls, then why couldn't the landlords accept it.

That is wierd that Chrissy's pastor dad would accept his daughter living with a man but if it was just two women living and sharing an apartment or house as just friends and roomates, that is fine!!! It wasn't accepted back then as it is now!! Sometimes I wished that censorship was brought back!!

Also I thought it was weird that at the end of the episode "And Mother Makes 4," Chrissy's mom was ok with Jack living with them only because she thought Jack was gay because that is what she was told by Mr. Roper! So I wondered if Chrissy's mom was later told by Chrissy's dad that he really wasn't gay?

That's a good question. Also do you think that they would of cared if Chrissy lived together with 2 guys if they were gay?
