Ok...what if Joyce DeWitt and John Ritter actually "hooked up" off screen and got married and stuff like that. Do you think that would've hurt the people/show in any way*? It'll probably be gossip city for the media don't ya think?!

*Of course with John being single and Joyce being single as well.

If it was during the show and they broke up,that would hurt the show.Otherwise no.

I think that it wouldn't b/c they both looked like very professional people. Like in the last season after finding out that was the last season I think they still did a great job. They kept their characters and the new didn't seem to affect their work. I bet it would have been weird for them but I would think they would of gotten used to it!
