One of my favorite shows growing up as a child was Bewitched. Especially, the earlier shows, which had Dick York as Samantha's husband.

I loved the show so much that in the last couple of years, I have aquired two Samantha dolls, which were produced by Ideal in 1965. They are hard to find, but are definitely worth buying.

Any other people out there with this doll, too?

Thanks,

Cindy

I don't have one of these dolls, but I think I've seen a photo of them. Doesn't the Samantha doll look sort of like the Revlon dolls? Those are very pretty dolls - they remind me of the Madame Alexander dolls. Are the Samantha dolls hard to find in good condition?

Hi!

Yes, the Samantha doll is hard to find in great condition. The doll comes up more often for sale without clothing, or partially dressed. I would say that the broom, panties and shoes are the hardest piece to find to complete the outfit.

The doll has smaller features than the Revelon doll. She's approximately 12 inches tall.

I tried to add a picture to my last post, but for some reason it did not transfer. I will try again.

Sincerely,

Cindy
