O.K. I just thought of that too. But it really makes me mad when big children and grownups try to spoil Christmas for little children by telling them that Santa Claus is not real and trying to ruin all of their fun. Every child should be able to enjoy Christmas so that they can tell their children of their Christmas when they are grown. (I guess you can tell that I am a Christmas person)

I know what some people are getting at, with it being mean to tell little kids that Santa doesn't exist, but trust me I wouldn't do something like that myself if the opportunity presented itself.

Okay, first of all, the picture is obviously a fake. Who in their right mind would stand there snapping away with a camera while their child cries his way to years of therapy? That being said, parent or not, I think you took it a little bit too seriously. Believe me, nobody here delights in the suffering of an innocent child. For some reason, the photo does strike many people as funny. Possibly because the mere idea of it is so very warped that you can't help but laugh -- but NOT in a "haha, good for him!" kind of way. It should not be assumed it is a direct reflection of who we are. Faced with those circumstances in real life I'm sure anybody here would feel badly and try to comfort that child. You did notice that my thread title was "Awww poor little thing," didn't you? Please, lets not fight over this :)

When what happens to me? when my kids find out santa isnt real? i dont have kids but if i do i wont be too serious about santa anyway. my point is that youre taking a joke WAY too seriously. that picture isnt even real.
