I wanna write a fic about the GI kids. I know this has already been done but not the way i want it to be. Don't get me wrong i liked it. So what your ideas on fic about their kids?:wave:

well you know what would keep a majority of us around here happy; Professor and Ginger's kid and MaryAnn and Gilligan's kid. heehee, uhm... oh! Mr. and Mrs. Howell can have a kid who has been away at bording school. and uhm... Skipper and the radio can baby-sit? Mere thoughts.

I've read that Sherwood Schwartz had plans for a pilot (back in the 80s, I believe) in which Gilligan and Mary Ann's 2 kids, the Professor and Ginger's 2 kids, and the Howell's 3 adopted kids all get stranded (probably thanks to Gilligan Jr.). Bob Denver says in his book that he liked the idea--let Gilligan's son fall in the lagoon for a change. :lol:

Yes, they had Thurston Howell IV in the last GI movie, "The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island". The reason for this was that the movie script had been written with a huge part for Jim Backus (Mr. Howell), but he was too ill to do the movie (he appeared in one scene). So, even though the Howells had never mentioned any children (and even commented that they had no heirs in the episode where Gilligan is adopted by them), David Ruprecht was hired to portray Thurston Howell IV.

Sherwood Schwartz's book "Inside Gilligan's Island" and Bob Denver's book "Gilligan, Maynard, and Me" are a wealth of information.

Okay my other story Matchmaker, With A Twist was originally supposed to end when Gilly and Mary got together again, but I'm extending it so it will their kids and Ginger and proffessers kids stuck on the same Island i once read that somebody had the idea of having Skipper's new 1st mate stuck along with them. Can that person tell me if I could use their idea or not. I don't wanna take credit for something i didn't come up with and the same goes with the Howells adopting kids. let me know!

The Sequal will be called, "Same Island, Different People, Different Story."
