I've only been to Shea Stadium to see a Mets/Expos game a few years back. I've been just outside Yankee Stadium, but never inside to see a game.

But I've been to the Kingdome (former home of the Mariners), the Memorial Coliseum (the former home of the Trailblazers), the Rose Garden (the current home of the Trailblazers), and PGE Park (home of the Padres' Triple-A affiliate, the Portland Beavers).

For some reason I forgot about Petco Park. I'm going to have to start getting used to calling it that. The ticket prices for this season are substantially increased (of course) so I'm probably going to go to 3 or 4 games at most.

Aww. :) It's by choice actually. My husband gets tickets all the time, and I choose not to go. I take an interest in the Sox if/when they have a chance for the World Series in the fall.

I will see the Green Monster before I'm old and gray. I also have to see this guy.

I'll take a stab at it and say that it'll cater to right-handed hitters. Not that Pujols really needs any help taking it yard. :D

I wonder if Petco Park will be better for hitters than Qualcomm? I hope so since they have Brian Giles, Phil Nevin, and Ryan Klesko.

From what I hear, the designers used the designs of Pac Bell and Safeco as their main inspirations. However, it won't be as spacious as either of those parks and there is less foul ground, so it will probably be neutral to somewhat of a pitchers' park, depending on the wind and such.

The good news is that it caters to left-handed pull hitters with a short porch in right field, which bodes well for the Brian Giles and Ryan Kleskos of the world. ;) I guess Petco also has a building in play in left field. Sounds like a nice park, and with that team, I would be very happy to be a Padres fan next year. Unfortunately, my loyalty is elsewhere. :D

It was crowded...... Me,my dad and my dads father went...... The Red Sox won that day if I remember right.......
