I think the most shocking thing I've ever read about Lucy or Desi, I just read last night on this link:

We all know Cesar Romero was gay, but this interview reveals alot more than I think I ever wanted to know. I mean, I always knew Desi was a swinger and cheated on Lucy every chance he got, but to now read that Cesar Romero not only had a crush on Desi, but actually either performed oral sex on him or had sexual intercourse with him...Well, that's just a little more than I think I ever wanted to know. I always wondered what it was that Lucy held against Desi that time she threatened him, saying she had enough dirt against him to bury him. I guess now I know what some of that dirt actually was. What I'd like to know is, since the words in this interview actually came from Cesar Romero himself, I wonder what Lucy Arnaz and Desi Jr. thought of it, and if anyone has ever decided to print this interview in a tell all book about Lucy and Desi. Ahhh Hollywood people are so weird...I still love the legacy they left behind though :)

All we have is someone reporting Romero's claim on this- so it could very well be that this was something Romero wished had happened but didn't. Inasmuch as I've seen nothing but praise (without the slightest hint of embarassment) about him from Lucie Arnaz, I don't think she believes this happened- or else she'd avoid talking about him entirely!:mad:

Hey that's ok, everyone is entitled to their own feelings on the subject. I didn't post that article, only the link to it. I suppose I was in denial when I first read it too. I didn't want to believe it, but if Cesar Romero said it, then I have no choice but to believe it, after all, HE was there. Anyway, it doesn't stop Desi from being the great entertainer/producer that he was. Whatever happens in someone's bedroom is their own business.

Well I just never thought of Desi as being gay that's all. I guess you are right though, cheating is cheating, but he was still the best entertainer/producer in all of television! Yes I have always considered Desi as a very underrated comedian, in fact, to this day, it's Desi who makes me laugh alot more than Lucy does!

The fact that he had sex with a man, or let the other man have sex with him does not make him gay. It was always said that Desi didn't mind sharing the women with friends, but that they had to do it elsewhere, not in the same room. Everyboy in Hollywood has done this at one time or another, they get bored, they have done it all, they are all attractive and drugged or drunk and they sometimes even do it just to advance their careers, what's shocking, we don't know the half of it!

Correction, Romero CLAIMED he was there but we have no evidence besides this claim that 'there' ever existed! You believe this claim, I don't.
In other words, I could CLAIM I had a one-time fling with the late sitcom performer Dana Plato- knowing full well that since she's dead no one could ask her if that happened but does this mean that you'd automatically believe me- especially if I only CLAIMED this in an interview that I knew wouldn't be released until after MY death? If you didn't, it wouldn't come as a total surprise to me.

I was going to say earlier that thinking less of Desi because he MAY have carried on with a man is rather silly isn't it? Was it okay for him to whore himself around with women being married or single? A whore's a whore, and sexuality comes in MANY forms. Maybe he dabbled with Romero, but so what? Shall we go on to speculate how many kids he had with all his lady pals, and how many times he got the clap?? That happened, too no doubt. Let the dead rest.

I think this is true. Only in Hollywood. I have also read things about such stars as Gary Cooper and Clark Gable experimenting with their sexuality when they were younger.

This new book on Hepburn has her dabbling with many famous women as well as the men we know about, this goes on all the time, we shouldn't be so surprised. I think we would keel over if we knew what really goes on in that town. Gere and his gerbils, Travolta, Cruise, and even the married ones with kids are cheating with their trainers and pool boys, it's all fake, just like those imported palm trees that line the streets.

Loads of people experiment with their sexuality. It's perfectly normal. Only thing that matters is staying safe whilst you're at it.

I forget where she lives and the info is at home, but take heart you get Saturday mail there don't you? Amy waited WEEKS for her first tape and it got there all broken up, the ONLY time any mishap happened to one of my tapes.

Well, that's the thing to remember hon, i can always make you others also! I redid Amy's and she got that and i also just sent her another one!

I live in South Carolina, and that's awhile from where Claude is..

It's weird, some get there in a couple of days, others take a couple of weeks. It's never the same, too many postal workers involved. And most of THEM are busy GOING POSTAL!

Oh yeah, Bekah was in the first batch of four, you were in the second. I'm pretty sure they went out on Friday the 6th. Sorry, the first batch of four went out all seperate and she was the 5th and you were the 6th, i had marked them on my calendar because people get so annoyed when they take time to get there.
