Anybody have a specific destination to celebrate the New Year?

I'll probably celebrate mine in Ottawa.

I'm still deciding..My brother is having a party, and said I can invite 10 friends. But my friend is having a party, which I'd rather go to, but then i have to worry about a ride home, since i'll be drunk, as will everyone else. And if i'm already home I won't have to worry about it. But it won't be as fun. Damn decisions.

I might go to a friends party, but I dont know, I think me and my friends are goin into the city

i might go into the city with my best friend. not to times square or anything but somewhere else. if not, i'll just end up at the movies like i do every other year

I'll probably just stay at home and hang out with my neighbor. Our town has fireworks every New Years Eve and we can watch them right from our condominium complex.

Most likely I'm going to my sisters house she always throws HUGE MEGA PARTIES

I don't plan on doing anything this year, last year was fun though. But you know, nothing matters anymore. I'll probably just be in my room crying about how pathetic my life is and then watch some TV or something. :) Same for Christmas.

I'll probably go to my cousins like I do every year. My mom mentioned us going to times square just as a suggestion because she knew how bad I wanted to go to NYC...but I doubt that 100%

Being the party hopping studmeister I am, I have oh so many celebrations to attend on New Year's eve.

The problem is one of them I know my roommate is dead set against attending for fear of running into his ex, so I might have to put in some face time at one party and catch up with him later at the other soiree...

Nothing like trying to navigate the NYC streets on New Years eve...

Not going anywhere. Staying home with my daughter and we are watching the Last Things Last and First Things First marathons on TVLand.

We'll get crackers and cheese and pepperoni and stuff and have our own little party :)

Well since I am 7 months pregnant I won't be drinking, but we are having a party because it is my brother's 21st birthday and my fiance's bestfriend's 20th birthday on New year's Eve.

I don't have plans as of yet, I'm just waiting to see if any of my friends are having or attending parties... if not, I'll stay home with my parents and go online, of course, like I have for the past 6 New Year's Eve's.

This year I don't think I'm going to any parties, but I will have the champagne. :lol: Most likely I'll hang out, watch the ball drop and catch the Twilight Zone marathon.

last year my friend had a party and if she doesnt have another one this year i'll lay on my ass and watch tv like every night.

She has it in her title under her name (it took me a while to figure out what the date was supposed to mean) -- it's due February 24, 2004. :)

As for me...ummmm I don't know. I'd like to go bowling or something...but I don't feel up to it, so I'll have the top off of my nonalcoholic wine and be having some for New Year's. :D

I'll stay home and watch Dick Clark like i do every year. New Year's Eve and Day were never a big deal for me.

Ill be going to my friends party like I have the past 3 years. I probably have to work the next day, which sucks because I start @ 7am. :o I cant wait til the 1st though... 11 hours of Fab 5 marathon!!! :woohoo:!!!

I'm only teasing you, Allison. :D Actually I don't blame people for staying home on New Years. I think the police turned New Years in a way a "Turn-Off" to a lot of people. I can understand cracking down on drunk drivers, but I know it has become a down right hassle for a lot of people who want to celebrate it. It seems that the cops can arrest you for anything now a days.

My roommate and I talked more about our plans for New Years Eve, and it looks like we're having dinner downtown at this great place in the meatpacking district called Florant then off to ring in the New Year at the best bar in NYC.

My plans for New Year's Eve is that I will not watch the ball drop. In fact, I will go outside on the balcony and watch the fireworks go off in Central Park at 12:00 AM.

last year I was invited to a few parties but i ended up just having a sleepover with my friend. This year one of my best friends is having a party and then id probably sleepover at that. I may do but it just all depends, who knows, theres probably like a few more parties ill get invited to. Nothing is final yet.

There's a few good night clubs in Ottawa that I want to check out. Also, they have a pretty big fireworks display on Parliment Hill at Midnight. :)

My husband and I are going to stay home and drink Asti Spumante and watch Pirates Of The Carribean(of which I received for Christmas from my daughter who knows of my great love of Johnny Depp!)

Well, nobody I know is having a party, and it's too expensive to go out anywhere($75 a person?!!), and I'm paranoid about the whole driving under the influence thing. Happy New Year!!:lol: :crazy:

I may be going to my friend mikes party but if my friend kara is having a party, ill go to that.

This substitute teacher at our school is leavin and said we could all come party at her house...we party there all the time, but this time it'll be all of us with no adults so we can drink until were sh*tfaced. Gem Clear 190 Proof...95% PGA.
