I just checked out the "Am I Annoying?" site....that crazy place where you search for a certain famous person and the site gives you reasons why and why not that person is considered to be annoying.....and Tony Shalhoub has just been added to the roster of celebrities! (Just for the record, other "Wings" cast members on the "Annoying" site are Tim Daly, Crystal Bernard and Amy Yasbeck.

Usually the reasons why someone on the site is considered annoying are negative traits by just about anyone's standards....The person abused drugs or alcohol, they were arrested for shoplifting while starring in successful films, they divorced their longtime spouse to marry someone half their age, etc.....

However, with Tony, the site really can't come up with anything concrete to nail the guy with. It sounds like he lives a pretty "straight arrow" life and that he's basically just a nice guy, and the reasons that they come up with for why he's annoying are quite lame and sound like they're reaching for something that isn't there.

I did a check on some of the "NewsRadio" cast members. I found, Dave Foley, Andy Dick and Phil Hartman. I'm sure there were others, but I didn't check everybody. The surprise to me was that Jon Lovitz was NOT listed there. So I guess they don't find him annoying.

But Pilotguy is right, most of the reasons for being annoying are not very good reasons. Well, except for Andy Dick's. He's seems to have a troubled life.

and yeah, I agree with you pilotguy about that website- those are pretty lame reasons why Tony would be "annoying".

I don't find Tony or anyone from Wings annoying. I find that Monk character really annoying though. One of my roommates from my junior year of college was a real germophobe and obsessive neat freak. I know some people just can't help themselves, but this girl was NUTS!!! I found my dirty dishes in the trash on several occasions because I did not have time to wash them immediately after using them. I tried to be understanding and get along with her, but she really made it impossible. She was truly a roommate from Hell, but I digress...

I also find Andy Dick truly annoying. Other than him, I loved NewsRadio.

Thomas Haden Chruch isn't on there... surprise surprise, but he is on the CrappyCelebrity.com list.

I wouldn't call Tony "Annoying", I'd call him "Overexposed". He's not bad, actually.
