What the heck is this? Several episodes after the baby was born, and suddenly Dan has his beard back and Roseanne is still pregnant. How could they allow such a glaring out of order airing to happen?

It's ABC's fault. It had a production order of 803, which means it SHOULD have aired in the middle of October, then Roseanne would give birth on Halloween. Instead, it aired on December 5th. Very big mistake.

I think Dan had forgotten to shave that week, and Roseanne realized she loved being pregnant with Jerry so much, that she took the baby and shoved him back in her, LOL

Did John Goodman have a beard because he was in a movie? That didn't look like the usual Dan Conner.

not sure, I know once again he sported a goatee in the last few episodes, he was filming The Big Lebowski at the same time as the final episodes
