I watched it but there is another new one that they showed on Lifetime and they added some more scenes. In this new one, Nate says, "she dumped me." Most likely refering to CD. How could she dump him?!?!?!?!? :confused: Did anyone else see that? So that's probably why he looks like a mess.

If she did survive and suddenly saw things differently and decided to leave the Force, Nate, and her past, at least that opens the door for her return...just in case some folks wise up and she does return.

Maybe she'll do what Jean Smart did on Designing Women. She quit during the end of one season, but guest starred in the first episode of the next season, to set up her exit. Maybe they'll do that for Tracey, and she can come back.

I did see the one on the website, but I didn't see the one where Nate says, "She dumped me." On the website, the announcer says, "One will return and one will say goodbye." I'm hoping that the one that returns will be CD.

If CD did dump Nate, as they want us to believe in the new commerical, that at least leaves the door open for her return. Maybe if we bombard lifetime and paramount enough, they'll beg Tracey to come back! :D I am going to be so mad, though, if they have CD dump Nate! Still, it's better than her dying.:mad:

Yet again, there was another one, pretty much the same as the last but I think I heard Nate say, "I'm humiliated, she dumped me." or something like that. The only think I'm not sure of was what came before 'humiliated' but I know he did say that. This just keeps getting worse. :(

I remember back in the day when they use to advertise the division and strong medicine on the radio and on different tv channels. I think it was in season 2 they would advertise on b96, for he ppl who aren't in chicago it's the rap and hip hop station. and i remember they would advertise on UPN (50 in chicago) in the morning.

My thoughts on this are:

I am sick and tired of The Division producers getting rid of characters this way. I kind of excused Angela and Peter going away, maybe even Steven(although I kind of liked him)because it was done early enough in the series and we as viewers did not have very much invested in them. However, the way they left was wrong, as was Teddy. For them to disappear without a trace is crazy!!! Now, they are doing this to a much-loved character after 3 seasons. Even though I would still have been upset that she was leaving, if she was given a proper ON SCREEN goodbye and not in the middle of the storyline, I would not be this upset. I think these producers treat us like we are stupid, that we will just "go with the flow" and go on.Granted, I am saying this without having seen the premiere, but from all that I have read, and seen, I am just really disappointed with the way we are being treated. Also, if I thought Tracey Needham was leaving on her own accord, I would be completely supportive of that decision. F

From what I have read it sounds like it was the show's decision, and I think they way it is being handled is wrong. BTW, I have ticked off some people at the Lifetime message boards for the Division, but I continue to sppeak my mind....

Ditto. It really didn't bother me that much with Angela and Peter leaving, but I have invested 3 years in CD, and 2 with the CD/Nate would-be-relationship. I'm really PO'd that they gave us such a great storyline and then amputated it. I'm waiting til 1/11 to make my final decision, but it doesn't look good.

I agree with you all. It totally sucks that they are taking Tracey off, I hope they at least give her a proper send-off. Not just she's gone and no big. Oh, yeah. One gal wrote saying its "just a tv show" and then said she remembered why she didn't post on the board-something about people being immature....then she said don't bother to slam her back, because those posts would be ignored. Does anyone happen to know, how much affect we have as fans on the outcome of what is aired on TD? I mean, does anyone know if in the past fans writing into other shows has ever changed the outcome of anything. Cuz if so, maybe we still have some hope.

I remember there being a big write-in campaign to save Cagney and Lacey many years ago, and it worked. I have written to Lifetime several times, and urge everyone to do the same. Since she isn't being killed off, this can work!

I write on the lifetime message boards as well. There were some people that felt that Lifetime and the Division were to blame. Well to me if they were straightforward from the beginning I don't think people would be so upset. I have watched this show from the beginning and have enjoyed it. I was also called immature from someone from the message boards. Someone who didn't visit the boards that often. I think anyone who calls someone else immature is immature themselves. To me this is an outrage and unfair to the fans.

As a fan of the show since the very beginning, I am so beyond angry. I love CD, and I have been anxiously waiting for she and Nate to get together. So, the writers give us a glimmer of hope and then pull the rug out from beneath us. Killing CD is a very stupid thing, especially right in the middle of her story arc. They have gotten rid of several characters in the past without giving us, the fans, an explanation. We deserve an explanation! But this is CD, and CD is such a brilliant character, and I cannot believe they are doing this to us. I am so upset you guys. I could freaking cry. I am going to be bawling my eyes out on Sunday night. How could they do this to us? They are letting us down big time. The Division is going to be awful. I am so extremely angry and sad right now.

I agree totally with the last post. This really doesn't make any sense. I don't know how they determine how a character's story arc has ended. To me it looked like the beginning of a new story arc. Now I'm not a writer but this is sheer stupidity on their part. I think they are going to shoot themselves in the foot.
