Does anyone remember this show? It was about an ex-spy who put an add in a New York paper advertising his help for people in trouble. Edward Woodward was the actor who portray the lead character.

Do I remember it? Heck yes!

"Equalizer" was one of my favorite shows from the 80's. Very stylish and cool.
Edward Woodward was awsome in that show.
A&E used to show the reruns, now I think Hallmark Channel shows them from time to time on Sundays.

Since the show was entirely filmed in New York, I love watching the reruns to see if I can recognize the filming locations.

I know this show really was great! Even though it came on late, my sister and I would tape it and watch it the next day. I don't think there was an episode that I didn't like. Do you know if it will be on DVD? Would definitely love to have a copy of this show.
