Short Answer: No.

Long Answer: The "story-behind-the-story" is that Carl Reiner resisted doing a holiday-themed show because he didn't think it would re-air durng the summer. He eventually agreed when it was pointed out that it could be rebroadcast every Christmas, thereafter!

Thanks for that info. I really wish there were more Christmas themed shows--it would have been neat to see a Christmas tree in the Petries livingroom.
