I just watched the "Sisters" Christmas episode on TV Land's "Merrython" (don't know the exact title of this ep., but you know the one I'm referring to - where Tabitha puts polka-dots on herself and her African-American friend so they'll look alike). A couple of times during this episode the girls refer to a girl in the park who told them they couldn't be sisters because they don't look alike. I think I saw this episode from the beginning, and I didn't see a park scene. Did I miss something, or was this scene never in the episode? Or was it originally in the ep. and TV Land cut it out?

I think this was one of the best episodes of Bewitched - although I'm sure it was very controversial for its day!

I didn't see that scene either. It's possible that TVLand cut it from the original ep, but it's more likely that the incident was just talked about in the kitchen to save the trouble of filming an outdoor park scene, especially since the ep was set in wintertime, and that would have required spreading snow and ice all around the "park".

There was never a Park scene with the girl saying that in the original version of the show in 1970,it was only refered too in the Kitchen & was not cut out by TV Land,i have the uncut version of this episode.

"Sisters at Heart", is such a lovely and special episode I think. To think that the first draft of this touching story was written by those talented school children is amazingl and Elizabeth as always is totally lovely and warm in this Christmas story. I love the scene at the staff party where she gives everyone a negro face to really "give it" to the bigoted client. That scene where Larry turns down the clients million dollar account is one of his best in the whole series and really showed another wonderful side to Larry that we always knew was there.

That was one of the best Christmas episodes for any television series I've seen dealing the holiday theme. That was an episode that was ahead of its time because during the time that the episode aired there weren't many shows that would dabble in that subject matter. Now it's a way of life when we watched situation comedies.

Although there is reference to the non-existent park scene in the attached article, it's a fascinating read, from Wikipedia. I've never read a more thorough analysis of the episode.
