Some of it is very very interesting, but there's parts where it drags out and is a bit overbearing. I've got a copy of 'Rosemary's Baby' for Christmas and I'm still waiting for my copy of 'The Hours'. I also wanna read Catcher in the Rye sometime, and am desperate to read 'Out on a leash' by Shirley MacLaine. I've seen the bad reviews the sequel has got- but I just have to read 'Son of Rosemary'- I've ordered a copy of it. I just finished it yesterday- definitely the best book I've read all year. I'd been meaning to read it before, Ira Levin's a brilliant author. I haven't seen the movie though- have any of you seen it? Has anyone here read 'The Valley of the Dolls'? I saw the Bette Midler film 'Isn't She Great'- which is to do with Jacqueline Susanne, and I've read reviews of the book and want to see what all the fuss is about. 'Valley of the Dolls' and 'Beyond the Valley of the Dolls' is being released in a DVD boxset January 5th in the UK- but I'll probably read the book first.
