Eminem is coming out with a new album. One of the songs, I believe is named Black Girls Are Dumb. So far a court order is preventing a hip-hop magazine from distributing a CD of a previously unreleased recording by Eminem that includes that song.

I don't think I'll be buying his new album. Here is the article:

Eminem CD Saved By The Courts

NEW YORK — A court ruling has stopped hip-hop magazine The Source from distributing a CD of a previously unreleased recording by rapper Eminem that includes phrases such as "black girls are dumb."

Manhattan federal Judge Gerald Lynch granted Eminem's lawyers an injunction preventing the magazine from enclosing the CD in its February issue, which goes on sale in mid-January. The magazine had planned extensive coverage of the recording.

The Source said it exposed the Eminem track while investigating the forces corrupting hip-hop, including racism.

"The fact that our opinion regarding the prevalence of racism in the music industry is being censored is just another step in the effort to cover up the racial bias destroying hip-hop culture," The Source said in a statement Thursday.

Eminem's record company, Interscope Records, declined comment on the ruling.

Eminem's lawyers had argued that distributing the CD violates copyright laws.

Last month, The Source held a news conference to accuse Eminem, who is white, of racism, citing lyrics on the recording such as "black girls are dumb, and white girls are good chicks."

The tape was provided to the magazine by "three white hip-hop fans from Detroit who were peers of Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, in the early '90s, at the time of the recording," the Source said last month.

The 31-year-old rapper has said the recording was "foolishness" that he'd made as a teen "out of anger, stupidity and frustration" after breaking up with a black girlfriend.

Besides winning several Grammys, Eminem won an Oscar this year for his song "Lose Yourself" from the film 8 Mile.

The owner of The Source, Benzino is a rapper himself, and I believe he just has a grudge against Eminem because he isn't respected in the Hip-Hop community as Em.

Plus, Eminem made him look like a fool in his records.

I detest Eminem but...

why is misogynistic lyrics bashing women as a whole appropriate, but if he bashes JUST black women, that's a no-no? Wouldn't bashing the entire sex of women be more offensive than singling out one type of woman?

I find it offensive both ways. I don't really like the guy either.

Gee. Remember about 25 years ago when the Stones made waves that "black girls just want to *have sex* all night"? Well, this takes the cake. Eminem deserves to crash and burn faster than a '75 Pinto.:thumbsdow

I agree. This kind of action should have been taking place when he began bashing women in the first place, without naming specific races.

The Rolling Stones made a song about black women just wanna have sex all the time? I never heard about that song. What was the name of it? I didn't know any of The Rolling Stones band members liked black women LOL. I do remember Mick Jagger's old video in the 80's called Just Another Kiss i think where Rae Dawn Chong was in the video but she's mixed cause one of the Cheech & Chong dudes is her father. Her mother must've been black. I didn't know Eminem was 31 yrs old. I thought he was still in his 20's. Anyway i would like to hear that song where he disses black women. I know how he feels cause i deal with a lot of black women & they do piss u off with the games they play but the majority of women play games in my opinion when you're trying to date them.
