why do people on here say there are 9 "sanford and son" episodes where grady takes over for fred. but on the dvd's there's only 6? season 3 episodes 20-25.
am i missing something?

Im not totally positive; but i believe Grady was in the first three episodes of season 4, until Fred (Redd) came back to the show.

The other three episodes...to take them up to 9 were as follows:

Fred's Treasure Garden..when Grady had that mixup between the wild parsley and the weed.

A Little Extra Security..where Grady received two checks from the Social Security Office.

Once a Thief...with Ron Glass wanting to stay at the Sanford home but once Grady finds out that he used to be in jail..he says no way.

Could someone tell me if all the show's where Grady took over for Fred will be on dvd? Will they do season's 4 through the end? Thanks for any information!!!

I got season 3 a couple days ago. And haven't watched all the way up to episodes 20-26. But I'm about 90% sure they have the Grady episodes. I'll check tonight for you though :)

Yes the 6 eps with Grady taking over are on the season 3 DVD. They are the last 6 eps on the DVD and i did not watch them because I don't like grady

Well it's funny because of Rollo, Esther, and Hoppy and Smitty, nothing to do with Grady
