Was Robin Colcord originally planned to be a SECOND triangle in the Sam/Diane relationship??

Maybe instead of using her to get the company.... he would be using her to get to her inheritance.

Do you think Robin Colcord would work if Diane stayed on the show for at least 3 more seasons??

I loath the Robin character.

It would never work, and this is why :The only reason Rebecca went after Robin was because he was wealthy and powerful, two things Diane loathes. Diane knows what it is like to already be rich, didn't want her life to be handed to her on a silver tray, Robin would be exactly doing that to her. Plus it's a known fact that some of Diane's favorite writings came from the American Transcendalist like Emerson, Thoreau, Poe, Dickinson...etc. They dispised the corporate machine...and Diane did as well.

If they introduced Robin in the early years, there probably would be no Frasier and that is a no no!

Then its agreed.... Robin would never work in the Diane years.
Hell.... he wasnt even that good in the Rebecca years.

It's hard to watch the episodes with Robin in them.
