View Full Version : Tonights eppie[Sunday]
nancysbiggestfan 05-06-2001, 10:18 PM What did you guys think about tonights episode? IMO it was okay, but not the best. i thought Jo was funny, you know when she was laughing cause she was goin' to kill the squirrel. Oh, and Blair with that red nose and her voice where her nose was stopped up. That was funny too.
And what was the name of that eppie? http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

BIG Dream: To meet Nancy McKeon!!!
callmetootie 05-06-2001, 10:24 PM It was "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner". I didn't like this one that much because, Mrs. G made too much of a big deal over making the dinner, I mean who really cares about cooking for a famous chef's family, or even the famous chef. That thing with the squirrel was uncalled for. Natalie was the only one who had some good part in this one.

Max Whittaker 05-06-2001, 10:44 PM Ha! Ha! Nancysbiggestfan you beat me to posting this! I missed this one but I'll see it latter then I'll answer your question.
I don’t really care for this episode but I do think the first scene in the girl's bedroom is funny.
Blair: The moon was but a chin of gold a night or two ago. And now she turns her perfect face upon the world below. The Moon. Emily Dickinson.
Jo: It’s freezing. Jo Polniaczek.
I didn’t like the whole Mrs. G/ cranky chef plot line in FOL goes to Paris so I certainly didn’t want to see it again in this episode. I found it boring – a bunch of French people who just sit there and do nothing.
coily2 05-07-2001, 12:50 PM It is beyond me why Nick at Nite took Season 4, one of the best seasons, and chose only to show the crappiest episodes. I hate this one. Blair was the only redeeming part of this episode.
I do not find joking around about killing animals to resemble anything in the vacinity of funny. It is in poor taste, in my opinion.
Was it just me, or was there entirely too much going on in this episode? It seems that everything was a B plot, but there was no major storyline - Mrs. G. and her annoying French guests, Tootie and Natalie slave thing, Jo and the squirrel, Blair sick. *Yawn*
Wild Child 05-07-2001, 04:53 PM I wasen't in home in time to see the ep...From your guys reviews,I'm kinda glad I didn't.

Nancy McKeon is #1!!
CourtGI44 05-07-2001, 04:54 PM Okay, I have to be different here and say that I LOVED this ep! lol. I thought it was hilarious. Maybe if I had seen "FOL Goes to Paris" I woulda been annoyed w/ the French dude, but since I didn't he was new to me. I thought the part of where they were trying to figure out what to do w/ the French people was great too. Oh, and the Emily Dickinson thing in the beginning. We're studying her in English today and tomorrow and I just kept thinking of that and laughing. Just my two cents. lol.

Max Whittaker 05-07-2001, 05:22 PM Ha! Ha! Ha! Fun episode! I liked it! I am glad Chef Antwon didn't disappear and was never mentioned again like so many others but he was still a weirdo. I think Blair was her typical illogical self but in a funny way.
Jo was my fav but I have nothing special to say about her.
JMPolniaczek15 05-07-2001, 08:05 PM Coily2 and callmetootie, I totally agree with you about the squirrel thing. It was really cruel. I love Jo, but one thing I think she could have improved on was her compassion for animals. Otherwise, I HATE this episode! Probably the only one I refuse to watch (besides Brian and Sylvia, of course). The first scene is funny, but it all goes downhill from there. I agree- too many plots.
