Jo: Why would Tootie do something like that?

Blair: WHY? I know why. To make a fool of Blair Warner, that's why.

Jo: You don't need Tootie for that.

What's it about? I've never seen it. Why do you like it so much?

"Where's Poppa?" is the show where Blair's father is indicted (sp?) for something to do with selling stocks. I don't remember exactly what it was. Anyway, in the episode Blair's father is supposed to come down to Langley to open up a Library (I think)that he has payed for and he doesn't come because of the indictment(sp?). Blair is one of the last one's to find out and she takes it pretty bad. It is a reallt good episode.

It shouldn't be on for a while yet. This one has Beverly Ann, so you're going to have to wait a little while and hope that this time they make it past season 7.

I haven't seen the episode in a little over six months now, which is very depressing since I like it so much, but here is what still remains etched in my mind:
(someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

There are two plot lines going on, Blair's being the bigger ones.

1. Blair's father is indicted for illegal stock operations. He is supposed to come dedicate the new theater at Langley since it is named in his honor...

2. Tootie is preparing for an opening day play at the theatre Blair's dad is dedicating...

Well Blair is making this big to do about her father dedicating it and all. Then an article appears on the front page of the Peekskill newspaper that her father has been indicted for illegal stock investing. Everyone sees it and tries to hide it from Blair, but she finds out and gets all upset. She stays in her room and keeps declaring she won't attend the theatre presentation because she is ashamed of her father.
Well, everybody, except Jo, goes around making this big to do about it, which Blair regrets because she wants to be let alone.
The night of the play Blair demands they all go because she wants no special treatment whatsoever and she tells Tootie to have a great performance. (In a way Blair is sorta soaking in her own pity by now.)
Anyway, the agree to going without her and they all go out the door. Well Jo declares she left something and tells Beverly Ann and the others to go on without her. She goes back in and then...

**A true Blair and Jo moment happen!**

I can't remember it word for word, but Blair says everything Jo is going to say, before Jo has a chance to say it. And then... the lines that stick with me...:

Blair: Jo, how did you ever get over you father being in jail and leaving you?

Jo: Who said I ever did.

Blair: But you moved on with your life.

Jo: Exactly, and you will too.

That is not word for word by any mean, but you get the general idea. I LOVE that scene!

I hope it comes on soon, and your right TVAddict, I hope they do get past the 7th season this time. Their scheduling is as fouled up as always!
