because the part of the show when the audience gets to ask the guests on stage questions, it usually was 5 minutes but now it has been extended to 10 Minutes. I guess the producers were informed that viewers liked that part of the show the MOST.

Those shows aren't even near the level of stupidity compared to Jerry Springer!, The Wayne Brady Show comes near though.

Jerry is actually a very intelligent guy. His talents would be better served hosting a political talk show.

I'm not one of these people who champions Oprah, but how is her show worse than Springer? For the most part, her show is actually about bettering yourself, as opposed to sensationalism.

The definition of Trash TV. Sure there are other useless TV shows (Friends, Boston Public), and overrated trashy movies (American Pie, Godfather), but almost every talk show these days is just overflowing with trash to an insane degree. This is no more evident that on the Jerry Springer Show. If you ever want to feel mad or depressed about humanity, then watch this. People featured here include people sleeping with just about anyone imaginable (and, yes, that does include...relatives), and not much else. In short, there are no positive role models on the show, period. Also, sadly, women in the audience are forced to flash their breasts in a voyeuristic display. This show needs to be taken out of the lineup, so that a classic sitcom, cool cartoon or Star Trek show can take its place! I'm sorry, but as far as television goes, I just don't want to face reality!

ClassicComedyFan#2, I agree with your comments, so ignore the comments Sitcom Analyzer makes. I look at plenty of classic TV, and I do understand the realities of the world. However, I'd look at R-rated movies before seeing JS. Springer is the worst show in history. When I was at West Valley, I saw students glued to the show virtually everyday. How can they stand such TRASH. I know all you said, and it makes me puke. Even Friends keeps their innuendo at bay. I hope Springer gets kicked in the b---, and his show canceled. Instead, I watch classic TV sitcoms and baseball documentaries.

Here's an idea! Why don't we have Jerry Spiringer sit in for wheel of fortune Of Fourtune so it would be watchable without seeing Sajak for a week! Pat Sajak since I really hate him let Pat Sajak host Jerry Springer and see how the stripper can handle that SOB and not to mention, how it will affect WOF's ratings. It's his show and I just hope WOF's reputation gets ruined since I don't like Pat nor WOF anymore!. Let's see who gets the last laugh now Mr. SAJAK!!!!

Well to be honest, I'm very glad that this show is not syndicated here. While there are some bad shows out there, I feel that this show is just about as low as you can go.
