View Full Version : Jo's Quiz Rick&Jo 03-28-2001, 10:35 PM I wager I know everything about Jo. If one of you can stump me I'll admit I know little about my love. AND I will disappear off of this board for a full month. let the quiz begin. FOL & DS fan 4ever 03-28-2001, 11:16 PM He he I don't get it but your message is cute anyhow. WOW, you've sure got a thang for Jo. Let's see- lots of us women identify with her cause she's a terrific role model, and I can see that a lot of you guys are obsessed with her (that's OK...we all get hung up on someone...believe it or not I used to have a crush on Michael J. Fox back in the 80's, but I thought it was cool when he was seeing Nancy McKeon since she's a great role model, so I figured that he had decent taste). So what do you want to be asked? Have you seen every episode of FOL? http://cwmonkey.virtualave.net/s/asian3/pmusic2.gif P.S....Have you considered registering so that no one else can claim your username? Mr Garrett 03-29-2001, 04:41 AM Okay I'll bite, here's my quiz for you: 1) How did Jo's dad come up with the remaining money needed for her tuition for Langley? 2) What state did Jo and Eddie run off to when they eloped? (They needed to go to a state that allowed 16 year olds to marry.) 3) Where did Jo park her motercycle when she first arrived at Eastland? 4) Who got married first, Mrs. Garrett or Jo? 5) How was Jo killed in the slasher movie dream sequence? If you can get all 5 right then you are truely the master. Enjoy my quiz!!! Mr Garrett Cokies 03-29-2001, 08:24 PM 1)sold his car 2)West Virginia 3)in Mrs. Garrett's flower bed 4)Mrs Garrett 5)by a frog? Shoot, I don't think that last one is right... ------------------ "It was just like Saturday Night Fever, only it was a Friday." Rick&Jo 03-29-2001, 10:10 PM Sadness... I was about to answer... Ok everyone hear is the deal, you ask, I answer, ok? I am thinking about registering but not now. So every one be fair and use your own user name. Ok,let the quiz begin, again. Ask me anything about Jo. FOL & DS fan 4ever 03-29-2001, 11:57 PM 1. What was the first name of that rich guy that Jo dated (during the Edna's Edibles years)? 2. What did Jo's mother say to her shortly before her wedding? 3. What type of gift did Jo talk the girls into shoplifting for Mrs. G when they couldn't afford to compete with Blair? 4. What was the name of that French dude Jo had a "fling" with when she was in Paris? 5. What was wrong with Jo's favorite teacher who suddenly had to leave Eastland? Mr Garrett 03-30-2001, 12:09 AM Originally posted by Cokies: 1)sold his car 2)West Virginia 3)in Mrs. Garrett's flower bed 4)Mrs Garrett 5)by a frog? Shoot, I don't think that last one is right... You got all 5 right although East Virginia can be considered correct as well. Number 5 is disputed and I always thought it was a goldfish that did her in. Number 4 was a very unfair trick question since Mrs Garrett technecally was married twice before Jo was, way to catch that one. As for the new quiz I can only get the 3rd one. 3) Jo got the others to shoplift a blouse that was on sale the day before but wasn't anymore. (It was ugly too but that's the late 70's-early80's for you!) L8ER! Mr Garrett Rick&Jo 03-30-2001, 12:16 AM Sadness... You stumped me FOL & DS fan 4ever. That was fast. OK....I know lilllll..... I know nooooooo.... I know nothing..... about... Jo....Sadness..... Goodbye...See you in a month... Cokies 03-30-2001, 10:47 AM Hey Rick&Jo, I thought you knew EVERYTHING about Jo...not as much as me anyway. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif ------------------ "It was just like Saturday Night Fever, only it was a Friday." FOL & DS fan 4ever 03-30-2001, 08:20 PM Alas, I didn't mean to make Rick&Jo leave so quickly....I actually thought that my questions were easier than Mr. Garrett's questions were. DinahTheDiningCar 03-31-2001, 12:26 AM I have a question...how do you consider East Virgina to be correct as well. I live in WV and it is a totally different state from (East) Virginia. We seperated during the Civil War!!! Mr Garrett 03-31-2001, 01:44 AM I recall Jo and Eddie flubbing it during the Edna's Edibles era. (They said East Virginia that time if I remember, mind you I don't get Nick At Nite so I haven't seen FOL in years.) That's why in my area both are correct. Mr Garrett! Rick&Jo 04-28-2001, 03:29 PM I'm back! The T 04-28-2001, 07:59 PM how was your vacation? Any since your back...maybe u should consider registering! I mean what if someone else registers under that name...then we'll think it's u and it won't be! Scary thought eh? The T Rick&Jo 04-28-2001, 09:05 PM AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! That is scary! The vacation was mentely painful. I'll never do that again. FOL & DS fan 4ever 05-01-2001, 08:04 PM Rick&Jo....Why don't you make up some Jo questions for us? Rick&Jo 05-01-2001, 09:27 PM OK.#1 What was Jo's fav dessert? #2 What is her bikes brand name? #3What was the first thing she ever said on the show? ssgoalie8 05-01-2001, 09:46 PM 1.) i'm not sure 2.) kawasaki 3.) uh...is this where i'm supposed to check in? ------------------ jinny: who in the hell are you? *************** JO rocks!!!!!!!! *************** J: i'm gonna loosen some teeth! *************** AIM ssgoalie8 or nmkjo Rick&Jo 05-01-2001, 09:55 PM Wrong Right Right Anybody else want a crack at Jo's fAVORITE dessert? Cokies 05-02-2001, 12:51 AM Chocolate Mousse? ------------------ "It was just like Saturday Night Fever, only it was a Friday." FOL & DS fan 4ever 05-02-2001, 03:04 AM Gee, that's a tough one. The only dessert I can remember Jo eating is icecream. FOL & DS fan 4ever 05-02-2001, 03:07 AM Was it chocolate candy? I remember that she traded gifts with Blair in "Love at First Byte" On the other hand...I'm thinking that maybe Cokies is right about Chocolate Mousse; I am thinking that maybe she was discussing her favorite dessert with her 'marriage partner' in "Sweet Sorrow." If not him then maybe with the professor in "Taking a Chance on Love"... ok Rick&Jo- you've got me there. I'm beat and it's definitely time for me to go to bed. FOL & DS fan 4ever 05-02-2001, 09:36 PM Originally posted by Max Whittaker: Kinky?! Ha! Ha! Good one. If your realy going have fun. Fun? I don't know the meaning of the word anymore. Well, that's because there are things I am supposed to be doing besides coming to this site, not that I don't want to come here. OK, I have too much writing to do and I had better get to it and not spend so much time on the net (I am the world's laziest grad student). Max Whittaker 05-03-2001, 01:31 PM Ok. Good luck. Rick&Jo 05-03-2001, 01:38 PM Man! You got It! OK so the Inposable question was posable... Max Whittaker 05-03-2001, 01:40 PM Ha! Ha! Ha! FolFanatic151 05-03-2001, 04:40 PM I think she was wearing a grey skirt and blouse, to be exact, with a black belt and black boots. And I think part of her hair was clipped back somehow. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif FOL & DS fan 4ever 05-03-2001, 06:29 PM Sounds about right FolFanatic, Jo's hair was longer in Season 9 and she often wore it partly clipped back. I'll have to check that one out again...if I ever have the nerve (sorry to say but I really think that the wedding episode sucked.) OK, see you all in a month http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif Max Whittaker 05-03-2001, 09:28 PM hEY, don't you have work to do? JMPolniaczek15 05-05-2001, 02:16 PM This is a correction: The first thing jo said was, "Uh, is this where I'm supposed to be?" but who's counting. |
