The specials sound cool.
But the schedule still isnt working for me (and not because Cheers is gone.... I couldnt care less)

Three's Company should air at 12 and 12:30
and Wings at 1 and 1:30
and THEN reair The Cosby Show

I agree Barwars. Replay Full House at 2, Cosby Show at 3, and Roseanne at 4. I don't know what to put at 5, but doing it that way it will follow the way it aired from 9pm-12am.

Three's Company at 5:00

Why is Cheers leaving so soon? It seems like it just started airing on N@N.

I'm real happy to see a full hour of Wings though :D Now, if they would just move it to a more decent hour. like 10 or 11 PM.

Because Cheers is going to TV Land in January. It will also still air on Spike TV.

So it has been determined that Cheers will stay/return to Spike TV?

Do you know what the rest of the Spike TV schedule will be this January. I know A-Team will be gone, but other than that I am clueless.

Looks like it. Cheers is listed for 6 and 6:30 PM/2 and 2:30 AM starting January 5 on Spike TV (as I said on the Cheers board, but it was not official then).

The rest of the line-up is pretty much the same with minor time adjustments, Real TV replaces The A-Team 11AM-12PM, 12PM Seven Days, 1PM Star Trek: TNG, 2PM Highlander, 3PM Highlander, 4PM-6PM Real TV, 6PM-7PM Cheers, 7PM Star Trek: TNG. Everything else is the same.

I think Spike TV should air MacGyver when TV Land phases it out, like it did with The A-Team.

another disappointing schedule.

Spike TV needs to add some more shows to its line-up.
All they really show is Star Trek & Real TV.

I would love to see Baywatch and Miami Vice get better treatment. I think a movie in the early afternoon would be another good idea. I wonder if they are done with American Gladiators and VIP?

so Baywatch is still gonna be at 9am, Miami Vice at 10am, Blind Date at 12/12:30AM and Highlander at 1am. Do you know if Spike TV will air the 2PM or 3PM Highlander episode at 1am? Seven Days will go back to one airing a day?

I'm glad to see Cheers will return to Spike TV and getting back to the Nick @ Nite subject, I'm glad we can start seeing 2 episodes of "Three's Company" starting in January. Three's Company really doesn't fit in very well with all the 90's series on Nick@Nite, it is one of a kind without Cheers and All in the Family.

Right. Highlander's 2PM airing will re-air at 1AM. Seven Days is just at noon in January. I think they could do away with Real TV at 11 and 11:30 AM, and air something from the Viacom library, like Coach or something. Since Coach will be gone from Viacom after May anyway, unless they renew, which I don't see them doing.

Do you have any idea to how much longer Spike TV will have the rights to Baywatch and Miami Vice?

I think "Coach" would be a great fit for Spike TV. It would fit in well and they do need more sitcoms.

I'm not sure. Baywatch came in Sept. 2001 and Miami Vice in Jan. 2001. Miami Vice was originally supposed to come to TV Land in Jan. 2001, but didn't happen. I'm asuming both shows are the usual 4 year deals.

What Spike TV should really do is go back to being The Nashville Network and air wholesome fare like The Waltons and The Wonder Years like they did as recently as three years ago. Like they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! :rolleyes2
