Hello, Freddie's Family.

I was soooo impressed by the efforts of Dani and Macca with our musical tributes to Freddie that I had an idea. Well I can't really claim it as my own, several people on here brought up the idea, but I decided to run with it. I would like to announce that after going through my files this weekend, I have gathered, sorted and organized all of my files of articles and pictures of Freddie that I have collected over the years. Dani just sent me a few more to add to the collection and now I think I am ready to burn them to a CD and send them out to whomever would like a copy. There are hundreds of pictures and many of the interesting articles I have gotten off of eBay. I included some of the wallpapers that have been made as well. I tried to remember who did what, but if I goofed up, please forgive me. My memory isn't what it used to be! LOL.

There is plenty of room on the CD for your own personal additions. Most CD burners allow you to add data to a data CD. That is how I am burning it so that data can be added. These are NOT rewritable, but they can be added to. The CD contains 174 MB of data... 2172 files in 97 folders. That's a lot a Freddie! LOL :lol:

If you would like a copy, please email me with your addy. These are my christmas gifts to you, so I am not accepting money for them. They may take some time to burn and get to you, so even tho they are a Christmas present, they might not get to you till after the New Year. Sorry.

Except we need to take those other folks outta the pic so we can drool of his hotness. Looking Good!!!! :) And I wish the pic was bigger so we can see all of him. I noticed it looks like he's wearing a white hanky in his coat pocket for looks but you can barely see it & it'd be nice to see it all & the whole outfit... :)

Howdy gang,
I am in the process of putting the finishing touches on my tribute to Freddie CD. It will have articles, photos and original artwork on it. I have a LOT of people to thank in this effort. Rosaly for sending me a CD of captured images from the show almost 3 years ago, which got me started, so many of you for your wonderful artwork with the photo programs (Huemee, JennyLee, Cheryl, and Dani to name a few), Macca and Cheryl for the captured images from the tv of shows about Freddie and the MDR movie, numerous people who have bought, scanned and shared articles and pictures from eBay or others who "found" some precious memories of Freddie in their scrapbooks, Karen and Huemee for their original sketches of Freddie, Dani who took the time to send her files so I could glean some pictures that I didn't have already, and all of you who have encouraged me to do this labor of love. I hope you all will be pleased with the outcome. I think the final product with have enough Freddie for all, so far 2451 files in 99 folders with a few more to add before I am through!!!!

Just wanted to tell you again Marie how grateful i am for your generosity in this project, you are so thoughtful.
I was telling another member on the board the other day how i thought Freddie fans were some of the most wonderful people. I truly believe that and i wish Freddie could have met all of you.

Well after numerous hours of sorting, renaming and filing,:typing: the CD is in the burner! :dance: I stayed up till 3 last night :dizzy: to get it ready for today. I am going out to get the mailers and will have the first batch out in the mail tomorrow. I still only have the 9 people I mentioned on my last post, so if you want one, speak now!!! I don't want anyone to miss out.

BTW the final count is 2,479 files; 103 folders; 188 MB! :eek:

I just came back from the Post Office and your CD's are on their way. They should start to arrive sometime next week.
I know some of you have mentioned paying, but these are my Christmas presents to my Freddie family. present: I was wanting a way to get your all a little something, and I am glad that I found a way to do it this year. Thank you all for being my friends. :thanks: A person can never have too many friends in their life. This it the time of year to be thankful for all the people in their lives. If it;s not too late i know of two more who would love a copy atlangel and catcopy...both have been without computer access at home for the most part and have maybe missed the message

Thanks, Marie! There's so much material on that wonderful CD, that even though I've spent hours looking at it, I feel I haven't even scratched the surface. It's a great accomplishment on your part.
