View Full Version : If You Could Turn a Period of Your Life Into a TV Show ...
Adamantium 12-15-2003, 01:11 AM Which period would you pick?
I think my two year stay at JVS (1998-2000) would make for a great sitcom. Everyone in that classroom was different from everyone else. Yet, somehow we managed to put up with eachother.
What about all of you?
Ewan's My Man 12-15-2003, 01:13 AM when my mom was sick
it would be a drama w/ a miracle ending
Kristina 12-15-2003, 01:18 AM All of it could be a sitcom, my life is one great big ****ing joke.
:)
Hollow 12-15-2003, 01:41 AM My whole life starting from 7th grade. if it was a reality show it would be friggan hilarious to me and the people that know what a weirdo i am, but the critics wouldnt know what the hell was going on and think i need to be sent to an asylum.
Mijada 12-15-2003, 06:49 AM What an interesting question. I'd have to think about it. Most of my life is so boring though I don't think anyone would want to watch it on TV.
Moonlight Lady 12-15-2003, 11:37 AM I would take last year and this year on the HD Board and make it a comedy.
Titania 12-15-2003, 06:44 PM 1995 to 1998 could have been a soap opera for me:
-my dad was in an accident and had severe brain damage
-my cousin moved home after a messy divorce and got cancer
-my grandfather got cancer
-my cousin's exhusband moved here and they started seeing each other again and eventually decided to get remarried
-my best friend moved to california
-i started middle school and fell into this kind of bratty clique
-my ginger tabby cat who I'd had my whole life died
-my cousin died two days short of the wedding
-my grandfather died the next day
-my cousin's fiance stayed and started living with (* coughs * sleeping with) my aunt (his almost mother-in-law)
-first boyfriend, first breakup, dumped him after a couple months and he freaked out and cried
-my grandmother died
Lady T 12-15-2003, 07:07 PM From 1994 til 1997; my life was a soap opera...

Definitely. Seems like everyone their IS A TV Character.
My college years were a lot of laughs, but I would probably base a show on the last few years of my life in the Big Apple.
I'd call it "No Sex And The City."
;)
David 12-15-2003, 08:00 PM From 5th grade to 8th grade.... how i transformed from little quiet nerd to outgoing boy.
Mrs. Ducky 12-15-2003, 08:50 PM From 5th grade till now. (7th grade)
Georgia's on my Mind 12-15-2003, 09:05 PM all of it.

9th grade destroyed me, and i have only been deterioating since then...im trying to rebuild my life now, but its not working too well.
dandelion wine 12-15-2003, 10:03 PM Oh geez, where the hell do I start? From 7th grade on through to my senior year of high school.. yeah, I'll go with those years.
Brian 12-16-2003, 01:13 AM 6th grade to my Senior year in high school. Pretty good soap opera, especially my 7th grade year.

 You got that right.
I'm tired, so I don't have any clever remarks to add.
Fan of old shows 12-16-2003, 05:17 PM Id love to do a sitcom on my friends current life with me as one of the characters in the show.
PashminaDietrich 12-16-2003, 09:11 PM Oh, brother ... My college years might do it: the buddies, the crazed Drama majors, the romances, the emotional upheavals, and the thesis adviser who looks like a horse. Oh, and the occasional swordfight. {Please don't ask.}
Post-college would make an interesting sitcom. Problem is, the past few years would probably end up as a workplace sitcom -- and I'd be the comic relief...:happyface
