View Full Version : A possible solution?

Since Nick and TV Land are both properties of the MTV Group, how difficult would it be to air FOL and other shows' "controversial" episodes on MTV? Given the daily flood of images that contain sexuality, violence and drugs, the controversial episodes would offend few. BTW, I offer this as a realistic solution for fans to see all the episodes of their favorite shows.

I think that FOL should be moved to a later time slot, because I think that that's the reason why they cut out so many episodes from the series run. I think that if they moved up just about a half an hour later, they would be able to show more episodes.

It wouldn't matter. 8:00 is late enough and they moved it to 7:00. Pathetic.

Oh, I'm sorry I was using mountain time but in the end it effects everyone.

Where are you from Max, you're the only other one I know of that is in Mountain time. I am too. Pretty cool!

Sorry, but the thought of FOL on MTV makes me want to laugh because it would be so out of place. I watch VH-1 and it might fit in there if they did some special themed night or something like that. The other side is that both those stations are music-centered and FOL has absolutely nothing to do with music. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Yes, I agree that FOL is not music orientated and I know that MTV will never air FOL. However MTV airs/aired a lot of programs that have little to do with music such as reality shows, game shows, fashion shows, movies & entertainment. Even "My So Called Life" made the line up. These non-music related shows are popular to younger viewers even though they are technically out of place on the network dedicated to the "promotion of music". Therefore, a connection can be made between the FOL (4 girls making tough decisions in life) to MTV reality shows ie. The Undergrads, Road Rules, The Real World. In theory, FOL's controversial episodes could easily fit into the MTV line up.

Even though I haven't seen any of the 'controversial' episodes (I might have during the original run but I don't remember), I can't imagine they are anywhere near as 'questionable' as some of the stuff they show on MTV. FOL would be out of place on that station! I do wish somebody would air those episodes, I would love to see them.

Graveyard, I'm in mountain time too. It doesn't seem like very many people on the board live in this area.
