I teased Janice when her team lost and she is not bothered by it. Anyone who gets upset because their team lost should not be discussing sports

Well maybe she doesn't mind but americandreamsfan03 minds from the posts I've read the past couple of days. This is not about getting upset about a losing team. This is poor sportsmanship I'm talking about. Sure I sometimes get a little irked when my favorite team loses but what REALLY gets to me more than anything is when people start going saying that that team lost and showing bad sportsmanship towards me. THAT is what gets me upset with sports discussions. I'm not saying that you ever did this to me, I'm just giving an example. It also gets to me when I see someone else is being teased about it against his will.

The point I am trying to make here is that showing poor sportsmanship towards someone else is rude and should not be part of a discussion about sports. Posting threads or making posts saying that a person's favorite team is a fraud or criticizing that team in any way when you know that the team is the person's favorite is childish in my opinion.

I have no control over what gets under people's skin. If I feel a team is a fraud i should be able to post it. As long as I'm not directed the post toward an SItcomsonline Member.

It's done all the time on the Sport's boards. Look down on this page and you'll see a thread titled, 3 Reasons The Patriots Suck. I didn't like it, but it's the deal here. Other posters knock teams CONSTANTLY.

LOL@people on here getting upset cause Solomon is talkin about their favorite team hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I wouldn't care if somebody talked about my team. People talk about the Cleveland Browns being sorry all the time & i don't get upset. I'm from Cleveland & i've tried being a fan of their's all these yrs & all they do is continue to let me down. Yesterday was a perfect example of that. They were playing at home yesterday against the Baltimore Ravens & they got blown out 35-0. How pathetic is that? I'm surprised the fans weren't booing them during the game. How can the fans of the Browns be pissed off at Art Modell for moving the team to Baltimore when the city of Cleveland doesn't deserve a football team as sorry as they are? It's not like they're ever gonna win anything LOL. I don't think they've ever won a championship in the team's history even when Jim Brown was playing for them. Cleveland Cavs ain't never gonna win anything either. I hope Lebron leaves the Cavs in a few yrs so he can go to another team & win a championship cause everybody else that leaves Cleveland teams end up winning a championship LOL.

But if Lebron plays as good as he is, they(Cavs) will likely offer him a long-term deal, which wouldn't surprise anybody!!

It's not so much what he says, but him starting ALMOST every thread, that does, bring down the forum.

Others who may insult other's team, do not start every thread about it.

I stopped coming here for awhile, because SA posts, were really getting on my nerves.

And, it's not like Sitcoms Online is the only board, where SA has problems getting along with posters.

I hope Lebron leaves the Cavs in a few yrs so he can go to another team & win a championship cause everybody else that leaves Cleveland teams end up winning a championship LOL.

Solomon does start a lot of threads, and those threads get lots and lots of replies. Not many members can make that claim. I don't know if TJ keeps stats on this stuff, but Solomon's threads must be near the top in popularity.

He creates discussion, be it negative or positive. He keeps the boards hopping, and that's a good thing for Sitcoms Online.

Others do have problems with Solomon, but lots of members fight. Threads get closed all the time that he's nowhere near. Check out the Poli board if you want to see some real antagonists.

If you ever take the time to read Solomon's posts, you'll see that he rarely swings first, but he doesn't back down either.

This is sports. People feel passionately about their teams, and there are bound to be disagreements. It's sort of like religion and politics -- it's not a tea party.

There's also the option of not reading his threads. There are a few threads that I don't even open because of the person who created them.

I'll admit he did and if KC's defense remains that bad Denver may beat them.

Shawn Kemp may not have won a championship but at least he did go to the finals with Seattle in 96 when they lost to the Bulls. Bernie Kosar did get a ring with the Dallas Cowboys as a backup quarterback even though he didn't deserve it. He only played one game when he was with Dallas. I forgot what yr that was that he got a ring with them.

Kemp was in Seattle before he got to Cleveland. Must be some good eats in Cleveland cause thats where he started to chub out.

Yes I knew that, I was correcting you because you said he got to the Finals, but that was before he got to Cleveland not after as you indicated when you said everyone who leaves Cleveland goes on to win.
