a friend was over earlier and we were flipping through the channels and came across "Get The Picture" with Mike O'Malley (whose now on "Yes, Dear" and has been in a few other sitcoms) on Gas, and it lead into us trying to think of other game show hosts who have went on to score successful careers as actors or whatever else their professions were (not counting someone like Regis who already had his show before Millionaire started).

Does anyone in here know of any others? I know there's others besides Mike O'Malley, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Other than Greg Kinnear & Johnny Carson, I don't know of any game show hosts that became actors but there have been several actors that became game show hosts including:

Vicki Lawrence had already been acting for 20 years when she became a gameshow host in 1987. :)

There was also Jim McKrell, who hosted The Game Game and Celebrity Sweepstakes.
