What do you think? I think Blair was being quite illogical in this episode. Jo was very pretty though.

It was just another one of the bad ones from the 4th season. ------------------ Andrew Carden FOL & DS fan 4ever 05-01-2001, 01:16 AM Actually, I really liked this episode. I thought that it had a better Jo/Blair moment than "Less Than Perfect." People always say that Blair had a heart, and I agree....but I think that Jo had a heart too. Jo stuck to Blair like a true friend during her time of need in this ep. Cokies 05-01-2001, 02:47 AM Originally posted by callmetootie: I didn't care much for this episode. Jinnyis#1 05-01-2001, 07:11 AM ohmygod! when i saw that this episode was on tonight i said to myself "ohno... i've seen it so many times!" but i always seem to forget what happens at the end with jo and blair! i LOVE that whole scene! especially when whatshisname calls and they just crack up... it reminds me of me and my best friend brianna http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif ~*~jenn~*~ coily2 05-01-2001, 09:40 AM I've always liked this one...... I loved how Jo and Blair go into a laughing fit when the guy calls at the end of the episode. Classic! Bluestone 05-01-2001, 10:41 AM BLAIR: "Why don't you go to bed?" JO: "I'm not TIRED!" -I love that quote! The Obsolete Man 05-01-2001, 12:15 PM I hate this episode. Sure, the Blair/Jo stuff is decent, but Blair is so out of character in the episode it isn't funny. Was the Blair in this episode the same Blair who drops men at the drop of a hat? The same Blair who gives Jo hell? I think not. The episode sucked. It's one of the few FoL episodes I won't watch. Blair&Nat79-88 05-01-2001, 03:13 PM I am in total agreeance with you, coily2!! Very much so, a classic! ------------------ Nat: Who wants to be a skinny pencil? I'd rather be a happy magic marker! Blair: Blow it out your track shoes! Tootie: ...the thrill of victory and the agony of Da-Feet! Jo: Here's to all who wish me well, all the rest can go to...JERSEY! Mrs.G.: May God bless all your footsteps (from her last episode) nancysbiggestfan 05-01-2001, 03:35 PM I love Magnificent Obssesion!! I love the part where they start laughing at the end, that is so funny. Has anybody ever noticed that Jo kinda hits herself when in the face when she starts laughing. I noticed this the first time i saw it, last year. ------------------ nancysbiggestfan Nancy and Jo and Jinny Rules!! BIG Dream: To meet Nancy McKeon!!! TVaddict 05-01-2001, 04:21 PM Ok, I do like this episode, but I do have to agree with Obsolete Man in that Blair was definitely WAY out of character. Date someone who doesn't think she's perfect? On top of that, someone who treats her like dirt? Highly doubtful. Although there were some great moments, so I still enjoy this one. Max Whittaker 05-01-2001, 04:35 PM He is a politiction he is SUPPOSED TO treat people like dirt. JMPolniaczek15 05-01-2001, 07:02 PM This is one of my favorite eps. It was really funny. Yes, Blair went a bit crazy, but it's nice to break the mold once in a while. I love it when they get slap happy. FOL & DS fan 4ever 05-01-2001, 07:49 PM Originally posted by The Obsolete Man: . But that's what obsession can do to people....frightening isn't it? Or, to make it relate to half of y'all on the boards... if they had put Jo in the same situation, how many of y'all would've liked the episode? FOL & DS fan 4ever 05-01-2001, 08:19 PM I'll have to think about that one; I'm not sure how I would react if Jo were in that situation. You know, I just noticed something- it seems like those of you who hate this ep are guys, and those of us who love it are girls! Or am I wrong??? Max Whittaker 05-01-2001, 09:35 PM I would hate it If Jo lost it. Good point Obsolete Man. But as it is it's good to me, though I hate ilogic. Devon King 05-01-2001, 09:47 PM Agreed. Blair was *wa-a-a-ay* out of character. However -- someone correct me if this is wrong -- I think this was the first time she thought she was in love. (As in capital L-O-V-E... not the "Wow, he's cute, I'm in love," variety.) Lovesick folk aren't the most logical people walking the face of the earth. Everyone can think of at least one friend who has made some disasterous decisions or bent themselves out of shape to be what they thought their sweetheart wanted. This episode took all that stuff and cranked it up too far -- but I think it still had some endearing moments. FOL & DS fan 4ever 05-02-2001, 01:43 AM Ok, I've thought about it.....I can only conclude that it doesn't make a difference to me whether it's Jo or Blair in that situation- as long as it's temporary. Actually, as you might recall, Jo wasn't exactly acting like herself in ep 64- "A Woman's Place." Her friends brought her to her senses and reminded her to be herself and not to give in to some male chauvinist jerk in that one (no offense to anyone....I am NOT saying that it is typical for guys to act this way). I am a big Jo fan, but it's a good diversion to see her show her flaws once in a while. Same thing with Blair. It shows that they're human and they are entitled to make mistakes once in a while. faith27 05-02-2001, 05:02 PM i liked this ep alot, because kinda the same thing happened to my friend that happened to blair, and i intervened as jo. hehe. but it was good to see blair & jo sort of showing different sides of themselves for a change. it shows they're really 3-dimensional characters, and don't always have to be in the SAME mold in EVERY episode. ya know? oh, the best line of the whole ep: BLAIR: "Jo!! Wake up! We can go to sleep now!!!" and it was really funny how they were cracking up laughing when the guy called...my friend and i act like that all the time. lol. ------------------ Mr. Bradley: I keep forgetting that you are a burgeoning young woman.
