View Full Version : Is TV Land Overexposing Leave it to Beaver?
howilu 12-13-2003, 02:24 AM I, like many of you are fans of Leave it to Beaver. However, with the addition of two episodes at 8 & 8:30 ET, TV Land is showing Beaver five times a day, five days a week. I'm not sure about Saturday or Sunday. Do you think TV Land is overexposing Leave it to Beaver?
Mr. Television 12-13-2003, 02:36 AM They overexpose a lot of shows including Beaver.
Bugiddle 12-13-2003, 04:40 AM You can never have too much Beaver!! LOL
I love getting to watch it at noon on weekdays, (Pacific Time) and the block of Beaver on Wednesday nights!
Mrs. Ducky 12-13-2003, 10:23 AM I think that this is just until January when they start showing other shows. And I guess they figure that more people would watch Beaver over other shows like the Flying Nun. :D

hawaii five-o 12-13-2003, 03:48 PM Once or twice a day is enough. This also goes for "Sanford and Son" and "Bewitched".
desilu #1 12-13-2003, 07:18 PM No I don't think it's on too much. Not everyone can catch the show during the day so I'm happy for the epi's on at 8 & 8:30pm.
There for quite awhile we got only one epi a night while they had tons of other shows on back to back constantly.
BlueEyes1767 12-13-2003, 09:42 PM I wonder what ever happened with the case where Tony Dow sued TV Land in 2001? He was angry over an ad that featured him with tattoos, which he doesn't have. He was suing for at least $250,000. He thought the ad showed him in a bad light........
COUGAR83159 12-13-2003, 10:38 PM Noooooooooooo! You Can Never Get Enough Of LEAVE IT TO BEAVER.
I did'nt know that (Tony Dow) was suing TVLand, do you know if he won or not.

COUGAR83159 01-23-2004, 04:51 PM Ohhhhhhhhh....... sorry my mistake
Barnabas1 02-21-2004, 12:30 PM Not at all! I try to catch it whenever I can. :D
MikeZ 02-21-2004, 02:39 PM I miss the daytime episodes, because of work, but always catch the ones at night.
I don't think it is overexposed at all.
Beaver Forever!
MikeZ 02-21-2004, 02:40 PM And, I heard that Tony dropped the lawsuit, as TvLand pulled that ad.
I did get to see it, when they first showed it.
