If Felice Schatcher stayed on with her role as Nancy we could have seen:

The real Roger!
Roger propose to Nancy
Nancy getting pregnant from Roger.
Nancy and Jo have a double wedding.
Roger, Snake, and Jeff fight together.
Nancy grauduate.

I was beginning to enjoy the blair/nancy rivalry that sprung up in the latter part of season 2. They could of cast an actor to play roger that could of come between them even more.I also think Felice was the best actress out of the 3(cindy and sueann)the producers must of finally thought so too since she was the only one that got recognition by name in season 2 and the most airtime. I think nancy and the other 2 should of remained recurring characters that should of been used up until 1983. Was it there choice to leave for more promising work after being demoted to recurring??

What happened was that the ratings for FOL for it's 1979-1980 were #74, with #74 being the worst. NBC thought that the problem was that there were too many people in the cast, so they cut Felice, Julie, Julie Ann, and John Lawlor from the main cast. Molly Ringwald left the series to be in the film, The Tempest. Felice, Julie, and Julie Ann were hired to each appear in several episodes of the 2nd season, and a final appearence in the 3rd.
