"The Story of Anne Frank and Skeevy" - After Cate encourages Bridget to participate in extracurricular activities to beef up her college resume, Bridget shocks the family by landing the lead in the high school production of the story of Anne Frank. But after reading Anne Frank's diary, she doubts her own ability to play the role. Meanwhile, Rory's obsession with a dummy named Skeevy becomes a little unnerving for the Hennessy clan, on "8 Simple Rules," TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"8 Simple Rules" stars Katey Sagal as Cate Hennessy, Kaley Cuoco as Bridget Hennessy, Amy Davidson as Kerry Hennessy and Martin Spanjers as Rory Hennessy.

Guest starring is James Garner as Jim. Other guest cast TBA.

"The Story of Anne Frank and Skeevy" was written by Tracy Gamble & Bonnie Kallman and directed by James Widdoes.

Due to the capture of Saddam, ABC will now air the Diane Sawyer Primetime interview with President Bush and the First Lady on Tuesday at 8 p.m., instead of Thursday at 10 p.m. Questions for sure will be asked about the Saddam capture. The interview will air in the high rated 8 Simple Rules slot. They'll save that 8 Simple Rules episode most likely for January, I'll update the thread as soon as I know when this episode will be re-scheduled.

Good news, I guess, the episode will air NEXT Tuesday, December 23. We don't have to wait until January now at least.

Why did they have to air it in THAT time slot?? I really wanted to see that episode after 2 weeks of waiting!!!!

One good thing about the next episode airing on the 23rd, rather than the 16th, is that most Tuesday night shows probably air their last show before the Christmas break on the 16th. The competition probably will not be as tough on the 23rd, so 8 Simple Rules will probably get a fairly good rating. Their ratings are already good, but on the 23rd the rating should be better than usual. The only worry is how many people will be watching television on the 23rd, considering that it is so close to Christmas.

8 simple rules will air at 7:00 here, so does this mean I will be able to watch it? Lots of people that I talk with always tell me it starts at 8 for them it always starts at 7 for me, so maybe I will be able to watch it. I hope so lol

You must live in the central time zone. 8 Simple Rules is not airing at all tonight on ABC, the episode will air next Tuesday (Dec. 23). The President Bush interview will air tonight 8 p.m. ET/PT (that's 7 p.m. CT).

I think the fact that TV Guide lists it as airing is confusing... since it was a last minute change, TV Guide is wrong.
