View Full Version : Who are you?
Bono's Guest Appearance 04-21-2001, 07:22 PM Hey, I'm just curious. How old are you people? Are you in school? Do you work?
I'm just asking because I'm 25 years old and practically grew up with the facts of life, but I've noticed some people weren't even born until after The Facts of Life ended.
So I'll answer for myself: I'm 25 yo male living in the United States, and I work for a bank.
Caraisdabest_Jo 04-21-2001, 07:48 PM hey suppi I am 13 and I only remember the facts of life being on before American Gladiators on CHANNEL 25 USA,but those were reruns. I go to South Allegheny Middle school in Pennsylvania.

CD- And how long has it been since you got some Jinny? 24 hours.
Jinny- Yes, mom, but i rountinly practice safe sex!
Jinny- We're cops. Sworn to protect and serve.
Jinny- I guess I'm just a dumb cop. Why don't you spell that out for me.
Jo_Polniaczek 04-21-2001, 08:23 PM I'm 13, and I'm going to be going to Middle School after this year, but for now I get the crapiest Elementary...I was born in the last season and didn't start watching until N@N
ILuvJo&Blair 04-21-2001, 08:35 PM I am 14 and I am in my first year of the wierdest high schoolin the whole state of California and I was born during the very very beggining of the 8th season.
stagequeen515 04-21-2001, 08:44 PM I'll be 13 in less than a month and I started watching fol when it premered on Nick-@-Nite. As for school, I go to the smallest, poorest, private Catholic school in the Orange County Area. The only perk is I'm pretty close to Disneyland.
FOL & DS fan 4ever 04-21-2001, 10:59 PM Ummm...you can check my profile. It doesn't state my age but there's a clue there that might indicate my age range (to some extent).
Devastation26 04-21-2001, 11:21 PM You're a graduate student? I'm 14 and I go to a standard high school. Why do things have to be that boring where I live.
toadwilliams 04-21-2001, 11:25 PM Okay I'll admit it I'm 36 and grew up with facts of life and still hooked. I work as an Imax projectionist.

Yep Devastation, I'm a graduate student http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif...and just a word of advice- boring ain't so bad; once life starts getting faced-paced, the years start going by too quickly (hey, I still can't accept the fact that FOL is now a rerun http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/eek.gif )
toadwilliams...thank you! It's nice to hear that someone here is older than me http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

joblairtootnatmrs.g 04-22-2001, 10:29 AM I'm 13(14 in 3 months) and I go to the oldest, crapiest school in Illinois.
Mustang Mimi 04 04-22-2001, 12:16 PM I'm 19. FOL went off the air when I was 7 and I never had cable. So now that I'm in college and have access to cable the episodes are somewhat "new" to me cause I don't remember them. Wasn't there an NBC slogan like that? "If you haven't seen it, it's new to you" or something? Oh well. Geeze compared to a lot of people on this board I'm starting to feel old...aye carumba!

Blair: (Cliff's parents) live on a farm.
Tootie: A farm?
Jo: As in e-i-e-i-o?
Jo: Which one's the pig?
Tootie: That's predictable Jo, insulting Blair.
Jo: I wasn't insulting Blair, I...
All: was insulting the pig!
jamier42 04-22-2001, 01:06 PM I am 23 going on 24 and I watched the Facts Of Life when It started on NBC. I watch it on Nick at Nite and also tape it too.
Love The Facts Of Life 04-22-2001, 01:38 PM I'm 13 and in 7th grade (Middle School)and I've been watching FOL since the marathon on N@N.
Mary Covey 04-22-2001, 02:35 PM I'm 12, live in Maryland, in the 6th grade in middle school (elementary schools around here go from Pre-K to 5th, middle school 6th to 8th, high school 9th to 12th) and I'm into old tv and movies and music especially 80s.

Always hoping for a change, always hoping for a return trip to the 80s.
Forget the Olsens, Jodie Sweetin is number 1. Long live Rick Schroder!
I'm a 24 year old college student. I remember I loved watching FOL as a kid, but after it ended on NBC I didn't see it again until N@N. I hadn't remembered much about the episodes so I've really enjoyed watching it again. Like new again, with a touch of nostalgia.
Bono's guest appearance: this may be a stupid question but are you a U2 fan? I'm a big U2 fan and just wondering how you picked that username.
jinny_jo_2001 04-22-2001, 04:17 PM I'm 10. I will turn 11 in 4 months!

Ms G: Natalie why dont you show Jo a better place to park her bike

callmetootie 04-22-2001, 04:20 PM Ok, most of you guys already know this but, I'm Andrew Carden. I'm 12 years old, and I love the Facts Of Life, Three's Company, All In The Family, and just plain old TV. I've been on sitcoms online for over a month now, and I've made some real good friends.

Blair&Nat79-88 04-22-2001, 11:24 PM Well hey, Lynn and Graveyard.....we're some of the older ones here http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif The college kids enjoying our favorite show once again in reruns, instead of when we watched them all originally.
It's nice to watch FOL at college because it's a nice change of pace from the hectic life of classes, hours of reading, writing papers, and studying in the library. And now that I'm older, I get the jokes a LOT quicker and it's SO much funnier!!! YAHOO to FOL!!!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Mrs.G.: May God bless all your footsteps (from her last episode)
Blair85 04-22-2001, 11:38 PM I guess I'm the only 16 year old here and I also feel kind of old for a change. All you guys who think your schools are bad, don't worry because you'll be out soon enough. Try going to school in rural West Virginia. Let me tell you there's soooo much fun stuff to do here it's not even funny! (yeah right) I don't remember watching FOL much when I was little in the 80's because I was probably too busy watching the Elephant Show, but I sort of remembered Natalie when I was little. I also don't have a job YET.
lesliem14 04-22-2001, 11:54 PM 20 year old college junior. Didn't start watching it until N@N because I somehow missed it on USA and I really didn't watch tv at night when FOL was on NBC-besides my Mom hated the show and just made sure I wasn't anywhere near the tv when it came on.

Lynn, of course I'm a U2 fan. Why else would I call myself this? I would even love to discuss U2, and share some stuff about it, but it really doesn't belong on a Facts of Life message board. Write me at ihateednagarrett@yahoo.com. (This goes for U2baby and any other u2 fans as well.) Thanks.
