The final scene was sad, where the dog is growing older while just sitting in the one spot, missing his good friend. And then the owner of the Pizza place comes outside as an old man and pets the animal. The a strong bond between man and dog. Whether they meant it to be or not, I found the episode touching ... And funny.

That was a very good ep. Another like that is Luck of the Fryish. That was even more touching - and stuff.

Yea, this is teh first time I've seen the whole episode (I've seen bits and peices before), and it's definantly one of the most emotional episodes of Season 4, if not in the whole series. Jurrasic Bark, The Sting, Leela's Homeworld, The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings, and Luck of the Fryrish are what makes this show so great. For as many comical episodes you get, you get just as many dramatic episodes, and good ones at that. You can't get much better than Fry and the crew.
It was also nominated for an emmy this year, but it lost to (surprise, surprise) The Simpsons - Three Gays of the Condo.
That was the saddest cartoon that I have ever seen. :(

Omg i cried when you see Semor growing older and older waiting there. Since Fry said he lived all those years without me. The music that played and how sad it was....everytime I see it I cry so hard.....

That's my most favorite episode of the series. It always makes me cry everytime I watch it! Great episode, with great ending song, classic!

That is the second best Futurama ep after Luck of the Fryish (Which actually makes me cry!) @_@
