Some little punk shot my dog back in October and they finally caught him last week. They are pressing charges and putting him through the system. I'm glad they caught him, I was beginning to have my doubts.

I just hope part of his punishment is paying restitution. Vet bills were close to $300.

What is wrong with some kids now adays that they have to shoot a poor little dog? :mad:

Sorry to hear about your dog. Along with paying restitution, I hope the judge throws the book at him. I'd like to see jail time and a hefty fee.

I hope your dog is ok. As for the kid that did that, he should be thankful that I'm not the judge that is going to sentence him, what he did was horrible.:mad:

Wow...I do feel for you. One of my close friends has a dog that she adores very much (she's had him close to 9 years now), but she lives in an apartment building that doesn't allow pets, so her dog has to stay with her parents..Well to make a long story short, she has a stepdad and he has a few rivals here in town because of where he works at...My friend's dog was with him one day very recently, and one of her stepdad's rivals shot her dog - in the leg - and that got my friend really upset and she's feeling the same way you are now. ohno: Why are people so cruel? I really do hope you win - it's only fair. :mad:

OMG,that is terrible. :( I hope they put that little *expletive* in jail,that's where he SHOULD be!!!I'm so sorry that you lost your little dog. :hug:.I love animals and I am intolerant to those who abuse and kill them. :mad: :mad:

I am so sorry to hear that, I hope your dog is okay! I am really glad they caught the person who did that, I love my cat, and I dont know it would be horrible if something happened to her, so on a level I know how you feel!

She didn't die. She was shot in the shoulder. She seems to be doing okay, but she is fighting an infection.

I doubt they will do to much to this kid because he is a juvenile and my town is HORRIBLE when it comes to punishing them. I hope this is a BIG wake up call to this kid.

That is horrible. Animal cruelty pisses me off so much. A lot of times the law hardly ever seems to care about it. It also seems they don't do anything about it unless a weapon, such as a gun, was involved.

That punk will get his.......... Good Luck in court.

Well,I sure hope she'll be ok.I detest people who are cruel to animals. :mad:

I've said it once and I'll say it again, animal abusers are EVIL! I hope that kid gets what is coming to him.

I hope this kid gets what he deserves. If he's shooting dogs now and nothing is done about it, it's a matter of time before he starts shooting people.
