TV Guy 12-08-2003, 01:02 AM It plays better when it airs as a two-hour movie, rather than chopped up into pieces for people who are expecting a regular episode (the same thing happened to the two "Facts of Life" movies, which also suffer from heavy editing in syndication). When this first aired, it was on "NBC Monday Night at the Movies", and was a big deal. I remember enjoying it very much back then. Bugiddle 12-08-2003, 03:32 AM When they aired it on the TV Land marathon, I thought it was boring - couldn't get into it. I can't remember if I liked it when it originally aired as a two-hour movie, though it would have flowed better in that format. FamilyTiesGOP 12-08-2003, 04:38 PM The first time I saw it (on N@N), I thought it was different and kind of cool. However, I just couldn't get into it this weekend. In fact, I blocked of that time to do something else instead. It was cool the first time to see the characters in a little more of a natural environment and on location, but it is not must-see. It would be better if aired as a movie instead of four episodes. barwars 12-08-2003, 09:19 PM I liked this movie. It reminded me a lot of "The Facts of Life Goes To Paris" and even the big-screen "National Lampoon's European Vacation" Maybe its just that they were in Europe.... or maybe because they all contained spies. Im not sure.... musicradio77 12-08-2003, 10:30 PM I saw parts of the movie from a 4-part episode last night. |
