Why did the black-haired girl, (Monica?) wear a fat suit in a couple of episodes.
Im not a fan of the show.... but Ive seen episodes where she has worn it??

What was that all about??

The scenes where she was in the fat suit were flashbacks to when the character was fat. Monica was known to be quite the porker when she was little, which is ironic since Courtney Cox is sometimes criticized for being almost too thin...

in the season 6 episode The One That Could've Been., the gang imagine what life would've been like if certain things didn't happen with them, like had Rachel married the orthadontist that she ditched at the alter in episode 1, and if Ross stayed married with his lesbian wife, etc... Monica's was, what it would've been like had she not lost the weight. So in that episode, she had the fat suit and it was set in the present

The other times they've shown her in a fat suit (the Prom video, the Thanksgiving flashbacks, the Stripper, etc..), it was all in flashbacks to the 1980's

WOW.
I mustve seen The One That Could've Been hundreds of times.
Or so it seems -- TBS seems to always air that episode.
