I,ve often wondered how the last two seasons would have been, had Mrs.Garret remained on board. For one thing,in the episode where the girls were reunited with Nancy,Sue Ann and Cindy at the house,Mrs.Garret would definetly have made their reunion complete.Imagine if Mrs.Garret had adopted Andy. She would have been perfect for that storyline.Nothing against Beverly Ann,but I feel that the last two seasons would have been better with Mrs.Garret somehow.:D

If Mrs. Garrett hadn't left...the last two seasons of the show would've rocked even more.:)

If Mrs. Garret had not left the show may have lasted a lot more seasons

Yeah I agree the show would of beat the pants off The Cosby Show or Cheers cuz they were getting old.

well, 9 seasons is definately nothing to sneeze at. I think it was just time for FOL to go in 1988, even had Charlotte stayed
Mrs. Garrett left the girls who were young women by now in the unnecessary hands of her sister Beverly Ann Stickle. To me, THAT signified the proverbial END OF THE FACTS OF LIFE! The ratings had dropped, the stories kinda sucked, and the writing was on the wall when they got rid of "Over our Heads". There were some stories I liked in the final season, but the show was already dead in the water to me.
They should have either kept Mrs. G on or ended the show right when Mrs. Garrett left.
