Hi!
TVShowsOnDVD.com has an update on the Here's Lucy DVDs, a major part of it is that it seems that Paul Brownstein Productions is NOT planning to close-caption the Here's Lucy DVDs.
There is a quote in the update from one of LucyFan.com's newsletters about this issue.
As people know, closed-captioning is standard and should be included with the dvds. Not captioning the dvds is unfair for people who either want or need them.
You can contact Paul Brownstein Productions to tell them you want closed-captioning, or even if you don't care you will be supporting the people who do. Here is how to contact them:
Email: studio@tvclassics.com
Fax: (818) 386-0040
Don't let them get away with not captioning the dvds. All dvds are captioned these days and these should be too.
Thanks for your support!
